Hyvää uutta vuotta 2017!

Uusi vuosi, uudet kujeet. Olen valmistellut uudelle vuodelle jotain uutta. Aion aloittaa vlogin! Koska Descendants 2 tulee pian teattereihin vlogissa aloitan näistä nukeista, mutta tässä blogissa käymme edelleen läpi Ever After Nuket ensin. Ehkäpä myös videona... Ehkä. 

New year, new tricks. I have been planning something new for the next year. I'm going to start a vlog! As The Descendants 2 is coming soon to the theaters I'm going to start with those dolls, but in this blog we stay and go through the Ever After High ones first. Perhaps even as a video... Perhaps. 

Laittautuja nuket valokuvaukset /Getting Fairest Photoshoot

Sitä kuvittelisi että kuninkaalliset prinsessat osaisivat tulla kuvauksiin, tehdä osansa ja jatkaa sitten kiireistä päiväänsä. Pitää kuitenkin muistaa että kyse on teini-ikäisistä ja tytöt haluavat vain pitää hauskaa. Joskus on hauskaa kokeilla jotain uutta!

You would think that all the royal princesses would know to come to the photoshoots, do them and carry on with their busy day. Well, we have to remember these are teenagers and girls just wanna have fun! Sometimes it's fun to mix it up. 

Apple otti vain yhden Madelinen hatuista ja kikatti kuinka erilainen se oli verrattuina kruunuihin ja tiaroihin joihin hän on tottunut.

Apple took only one of Madeline's hats giggling how different it was from crowns and tiaras she's used to.

Raven ei pelännyt kokeilla jotain uutta ja hän itseasiassa piti Briarin tummista aurinkolaseista. Ne sopisivat hyvin tunnilla nukkumiseen huomaamatta. Applen sydäntiarasta hän ei ollut yhtä innostunut mutta kaikkeahan voi kokeilla...

Raven wasn't afraid to try something new and she actually liked Briar's dark glass crowns. They would be great at sleeping in class unnoticed. About Apple's heart tiara she wasn't interested at all but you can always try something new...

Nukkuminen kuulosti Briarista hyvältä ajatukselta. Hän sai kuitenkin pidettyä silmiä auki vielä sen verran että kokeili Madelinen kultaista teepannua päähänsä ja tuumasi kuinka mukavasti se lämmitti. Madeline selitti että se vain kertoi että tee oli valmista. Ravenin kauluksesta Briar ei ollut niin innostunut, se oli aivan liian piikikäs ollakseen mukava niskatuki nukkuessa.

Sleeping sounded like a good idea to Briar. She managed to stay awake long enough that she tried on Madeline's golden teapot and thought how nicely it warmed her up. Madeline explained that was just how you knew the tea was ready. From Raven's collar she didn't like that much, it was way too spiky to be comfortable neck supporter while sleeping. 

Madeline pääsi kerrankin kokeilemaan oikein kuninkaallista kruunua, mutta ihmetteli kun kruunu vain oli eikä sieltä saanut vedettyä pöytää tai edes yhtä kuppia teetä. Hän tuli tulokseen että hänen oma hattunsa on paras. Ravenin niittikaulus oli hänestä niin sopiva hänen yöpukuunsa että hän lainasi sitä muutaman kerran jatkossakin.

Madeline got to wear for once a true, royal crown, but she wondered how it just stood in her head and you couldn't get a table or even a cup of tea from it. She thought her hat was the best for her. Raven's riven collar fit her outfit so well she lent it couple of times afterwards too.

Madeline ja kuinka nuket ovat pakattuna. Kaikki ovat suhteellisen samalla tavalla paketissa, heillä on oma poseerauksensa ja hyllykkö vieressä ja yksi tavara sidottuna käteen. Mukana tulee musta standi ja avaimenmuotoinen harja. Paketin sivut näyttävät kirjalta ja takana on C. A Cupidin viesti ja kutsu Sydänpäivän tanssiaisiin. (Ei Thronecoming kuten virheellisesti aiemmin kirjoitin, tässä valmistaudutaan Sydäntanssiaisiin mutta asut ovat samat Thronecomingissa kyllä myös).

Madelaine and how the dolls are packed. All are packed quite the same way; they hold a pose and their shelf is tied next to them and they hold one thing. They come with black stand and key shaped brush. The sides of the package looks like a book and in behind there is a hext message from C. A. Cupid and an invitation to the True Hearts Day dance. (Not Thronecoming as I before said falsely, here they get ready to True Hearts Day but the same outfits are shown in Thronecoming too).

Madelinen hyllykkö on purppura, pienempi alhaalta ja pullistuu ylhäältä. Se on koristeltu kiekuroin ja takaosassa on kultaiset pidikkeet suurelle koristehatulle ja rusetille. Ylähylly on pyöristetty jotta hiuspannat istuvat siihen hyvin ja on sikinsokin sekaisin olevaa nauhaa joka muodostaa hyllyn. Alahylly on sininen myös mutta samanlainen kuin muillakin, sisältäen Ever After Highn logon. Hyllykössä on kaksi hiuspantaa ja kädessä hänellä on pieni, turkoosi peili.

Maddies shelf is purple, smaller from down and bulges on top. It's decorated with swirls and in the back are golden holders for a decorative hat and it's bow. The upper shelf is rounded so the headbands would sit there tightly and is made from blue... mess. It has holes so it has to be decorative. ;) The lower shelf is similar with others, it's blue and has the Ever After High logo on it. The shelf includes one headband, one headband with hat and she has a turquoise pocket mirror on her hand.

Madelinen hiukset on molemmin puolin söpöillä poninhännillä ja vedetty edestä taakse sinisellä hiuspannalla jossa on kultainen teekannu.
Meikki on taas hyvin kevyt, hieman vaaleanpunaista luomiväriä ja vaaleanpunaiset huulet. Hieman poskipunaakin havaittavissa. Signature Maddien meikki ei ole vahva ja on hänelle sopiva mutta minä pidän näistä puhdasnaamaisemmista versioista. Tuntuu kuin henkilön oikea kauneus pääsee silloin todella esiin.

Madelines hair is on cute pigtails and held back from front with a blue headband with a golden teapot. 
The make-up is again very light, a bit of light pink eyeshadow and light pink lips. A tad of blush and finished. Signature Maddie doesn't have strong make up and hers befit her well but I still prefer these more clean from face versions. It feels like then the persons true beauty comes truly out.

Madelinen aamutakki on hyvin yksinkertainen sininen takki hartioista rypytetyillä, suorilla hihoilla jotka yltää kyynärpäihin. Helmassa on purppuraa tylliä rypytettynä. Tämä on kaunis aamutakki mutta olisin toivonut jotain kummallisempaa ja kummalisempaa.

Maddies robe is very simple blue one with gathered shoulders, straight sleeves to the elbow and with purple tulle ruffle on bottom of the hem. This is a beautiful robe but I would have hoped for something curiousier and curiousier. 

Yöpuku on uskollinen Madelinen teemalle; se on valkoinen ja täynnä teekannuja ja -kuppeja. Helmassa on mustavalkea pystyraitainen rypytetty kaitale antamassa hieman lisäväriä sinisiin ja purppuroihin kuvioihin. The nightgown is true to her theme; white dress filled with teapots and -cups. In the hem there is ruffled piece of black and white vertical stripes to give something more to the blue and purple print. The upper body cut is straight so the nightgown is sleeveless but the fabric does fold so that it makes small sleeves. The edges are trimmed with blue. This would be quite bland without the hem piece. Like this I like it a lot. 

Hups, Madeline ei sittenkään mahtunut istumaan hyllykköönsä! Noloa, nyt taisi tyttö jäädä jumiin... Mutta kaikkeahan on kokeiltava tietääkseen onko se mahdollista vai ei.

Ops, Madeline didn't fit to sit to her shelf after all! How embarrassing, I think she's stuck... But you have to try everything to know is it possible or not!

Samalla kun Maddie yrittää nousta hyllystään voidaankin vilkaista aamutossuja. Ne ovat purppurat, hieman suomuisen näköiset joiden edessä on koristeena teepannu.

At the same time as Maddie tries to get off from her shelf we can take a look of her slippers. They are purple, a bit scaly looking and has a decorative teapot in the front.

Hmm... Mitä näistä kaikista ihanista hatuista ja hiuspannoista pitäisi?
Yksi vaihtoehto olisi tämä purppura hiuspanta sinisisellä, sydämenmuotoisella hatulla jossa on vaaleansinisiä sydämiä edessä tai sitten tämä ihana, yksinkertainen musta hiuspanta violetilla hattukoristeella.

Hmm... What to wear of all these lovely hats and headbands? One option would be this purple headband with blue, heart-shaped hat with light blue hearts in the front or then this black one with violet hat decoration. 

Miksi valita jos voi käyttää kaikkia kerralla? Ongelma ratkaistu!

Why choose if you can wear them all at the same time? Problem solved!

Briar Beauty Laittautuja nukke / Briar Beauty Getting Fairest doll

Briar tuli mustalla standilla ja harjalla. Ei vaiskaan. Briar tuli kirjan muotoisessa laatikossa kuten muutkin. Hänen hyllykkönsä on mustista ruusunvarsista muodostuva vaaleanpunaisilla hyllyköillä oleva (joissa on Ever After Highn logo) jonka edessä on pinkeistä ruusuista muodostuva reuna. Hänen hyllykössään on kaksi aurinkolasikruunua ja käsipeili.

Briar came with black stand and brush. Just kidding, she came in a book shaped box like the rest of them. Her shelf is made of black, thorny, rose vines and light pink shelves (with Ever After High logo on them). In the front there is edge of pink roses. Her shelf contains two crown sunglasses and a hand mirror. 

Hiuksissa on pinkit raidat tällä kertaa päällä erona signature nukkeen. Ne ovat muuten vapaina mutta edestä on osio pinkin ruusuköynnöksen sisässä. Briarilla on kimaltava, vaalean pinkki luomiväri ja pinkit huulet. Kulmakarvat lähtevät hieman liian kaukaa, näyttäisi luonnollisemmalta jos ne olisivat keskemmällä.

Unlike signature doll, Briar has her pink stripes on top of her hair this time. They are otherwise free but part of front hair is inside pink, swirly rose vine hair clip. She has pink, shiny eyeshadow and pink lips. Her eyebrows are a bit too apart, they would look more natural if they would start closer of each other. 

Briarin aamutakki on itseasiassa aivan samanlainen kuin Applellakin, vain pinkkinä ja rypytykset ovat vaaleanpunaiset. Materiaali on myös eri, Briarin aamutakki on satiinia. Vaikka tytöt eivät ole huonetovereita niin silti voi kuvitella että parhailla ystävillä olisi samanlaiset aamutakit.

Briar's robe is actually just like Apple's robe, only in pink with light pink ruffles. The material is also different, Briar has satin robe. Although the girls aren't room mates, you still could imagine that the best friends would have matching robes. 









Briar on nelikosta ainut jolla on housupuku, mikropituiunen tämäkin. Kangas on pinkkiä ja valkoista jossa on mustia, piikikkäitä köynnöksiä. Yöpuvun yläosassa on musta tyllirypytys ja mustat olkanauhat.
(Housupuku on loistava idea. Pidän siitä todella paljon.)

Briar is the only one from the four who has micro short suit. The fabric is pink and white gradient pattern with black, thorny vines. On top of the night suit there is black tulle ruffle and black straps.
(I love the idea of pants as a nightgown. Fashion forwards, I love it.)










Briarin aamutossut ovat vaaleanpunaiset ja ensimmäisenä minulle niistä tuli mieleen jäätelötötterö. Kuvio kengässä on sama painettu vinoneliökuvio kuin Applellakin, mutta lisänä on piikkiköynnöksiä. Edessä on pinkki tupsu.

Briars slippers are light pink and the first thing that comes to my mind about them is cone of ice cream. The pattern in the shoe is the same diamond pattern as Apple has but Briar has thorns going round the heel. In the front there is a pink pom pom.

Rento hetki kokeilla uusia laseja. Briar tunnetaan kuitenkin hänen kruunu-laseistaan.     

Just relaxing and trying on glass crowns. She's known for them, after all.

Nokkelimmat huomasivat varmaan heti että pinkit aurinkolasit ovat Briarin signature aurinkolasit. En löydä hyllykössä tulleita laseja mistään vaikka olevinaan en niitä ole siitä pois ottanut. Alkuperäiset lasit olivat myös läpinäkyvät pinkit joissa oli helmireuna ylhäällä sydänkoristeella. Ei kovin hienot, muistuttivat paljon Applen sydänkruunua. Ehkä nämä parhaat ystävykset onkin yritetty tehdä pariksi toisilleen.
Toiset aurinkolasit ovat tummat joiden yläreunassa on rivi pinkkejä rusetteja. Nämä ovat aika hauskat minusta. Ja pidän todella paljon siitä että hänellä on tummat lasit myös. CSI Miami, kukaan? ;)

The most sharp eyed must have noticed right away that the pink ones are Briar's signature dolls crown glasses. I can't find the ones which came in the shelf from anywhere even though I don't remember I would have removed them. The original glasses were also translucent pink with pearl stripe and a heart on top of them. Not that great, they looked like a match to Apple's heart crown. Perhaps these two best friends are tried to make to compliment each other. 
The other crown glasses are dark and have row of pink bows on top of them. These are nice, I really like that she has dark glasses too. CSI Miami, anyone? ;)

Raven Queen laittautuja nukke / Raven Queen Getting Fairest doll

Raven tuli muistaakseni hopeisella standilla mutta en ole aivan varma. Musta sopii neidille hyvin kyllä myös (paitsi tossujen osalta kun katoaa sinne). Ravenin hylly on hopeinen, koristeltu ja yläosassa on piikkejä, edessä on musta sulkia muistuttava reuna piikin kanssa ja hyllyt ovat violetit joissa on Ever After High logo. Hyllykössä mukana tulee violetti peili ja kaksi kaulusta.

If I remember right Raven came with silver stand but the black one suits her fine too (except the slippers fade in). Raven's shelf is silver and decorated with swirls and spikes. In the front is a black feathers and spike wall and the shelves are purple with Ever After High logo on them. The shelf comes with a purple mirror and two collars.

Ravenin hiukset on nostettu edestä ja sidottu pienelle poninhännälle taakse, muutoin hänen hiukset liehuvat vapaina. Tämä hiustyyli tuo täydellisesti esiin hänen sydämenmuotoisen hiusrajan. Hänellä on tummat kulmakarvat, hyvin kevyt vaaleanpunainen, hopea ja harmaa silmämeikki, hiukan poskipunaa ja vaalean lilaa huulipunaa.
Tämä on ehdottomasti minun suosikki look Ravenilta. Hän näyttää niin yksinkertaisen kauniilta, kiltiltä, enemmän siltä mitä hän on sisältäpäin. Ja nuo kuulokkeet on upeat.

Raven's hair is pulled high from front and tied to small ponytail, otherwise they flow free. This hairstyle brings her heart-shaped hair line out well. She has dark brows and light pink, silver and grey make up. She has a hint of blush and light lilac lips. 
This look is my absolute favourite Raven look. She looks so clean, simple, kind, more of what she truly is. And the headphones rocks. 

Ravenin aamutakki on violetti, yksinkertainen muodoltaan ja lyhyt helmaltaan mutta hihat levenevät kyynärpäistä reilusti ja ovat koristeltu mustalla pitsillä.
Minusta olisi musta pitsi sopinut myös joko helmaan tai kaulalle, hieman liian yksinkertaiseksi jää tämä aamutakki.

Ravens robe is purple, simple shaped and short from hem but the sleeves widens a lot from elbow and are decorated with black lace. 
I think that black lace would have been fitting for the hem or as a collar too. Now the robe is a bit too simple. 

Kuvatahan saa mutta musiikin kuuntelua Raven ei lopettanut missään vaiheessa. Varmaan soi hänen suosikki levynsä Taylor Nopealta.
Ravenin yöpuku on lila, hihaton, yksinkertainen mekko jossa on mustia, violetteja ja valkoisia korppeja sekä lyhyt kaksinkertainen tyllihelma violettina ja mustana.

You may photoshoot but Raven never stops listening her music. Perhaps it was her favourite Taylor Quick album. 
Ravens nightgown is simple, lilac, sleeveless dress with black, purple and white raven print and two layered, ruffled, short hem in purple and black. 

 Ravenin tossut ovat mustat ja piikikkäät joiden etuosassa on kuninkallisen sinetin näköinen koriste ja mustaa karvaa. Ja ne ovat luonnollisesti korkeakorkoiset.

Raven's slippers are black and spiky. In the front there is what looks like a royal signet decoration and black fur. And naturally they are high heeled. 

 Voihan sitä kokeilla miten nämä kaulukset sopisivat tyyliin....     Might as well see will the collars fit to my style...

Ensimmäinen kauluri on hopeinen, hillitysti nouseva ja nopeasti levittyvä piikikkäällä reunuksella ja suurella kiinnitysnapilla. Tämä kauluri sopii hyvin kuulokkeisiin. 

Toinen kauluri on lila, niiteistä tehty, enemmän v-kaula-aukkoinen ja kauluri nousee enemmän taaksepäin ja kaartuu hieman. Edessä on musta korpinkallo nappina. Tämä kauluri sopii asun väritykseen ehkä paremmin mutta ei minusta ole kovin hyvännäköinen. 

The first collar is silver, it rises a bit and then spreads wider. It has spiky edge all around and big button in front. This collar goes well with the headphones. 

The other collar is lilac, filled with rivets and has more of a v-shaped neckline. The collar is thinner from front and rises more from the back and is a bit curved. In the front there is a black raven skull as a button. This collar fits to the outfit from it's colour, kinda, but I don't like it that much. 

Itseasiassa Ravenia ei tämä laittautuminen kiinnosta läheskään yhtä paljon kuin musiikin kuuntelu. Hänellä on hopeinen soitin koristeellisin reunoin ja niittikuulokkeet. (Jos ette ole vielä huomanneet.)

Actually Raven isn't as interested in Getting Fairest than listening music. She has a silver player with decorative borders and rivet headphones. (If you haven't yet noticed.)

Apple White Laittautuja nukke / Apple White Getting Fairest doll

Apple tuli kultaisen standin kanssa mutta kuvatessa ei sattunut olemaan mukana. Laittautujahahmot tulevat oman hyllykön kanssa jossa heille on vaihtoehtoja mitä laittaa asusteeksi. Applen mukana tulee valkoinen, koristeellinen peili sekä kaksi kruunua. Applen hyllykkö on kultainen, koristeellinen punaisilla hyllyillä joissa on Ever After High:n logo. Edessä on valkoinen, koristeellinen reuna jossa on kolme punaista omenaa.
Applen hiukset on kiharrettu pilleillä ja kuumalla vedellä, yksi osa hiukan liiankin rajusti mutta sovitaan että Apple nousi juuri sängystä. ;)

Apple came with golden stand but it wasn't with me while photographing. Getting Fairest dolls come with their own shelf where they have accessories they can choose from. Apple has white, decorative mirror and two crowns with her shelf. The shelf is golden and royally decorated, it has red shelves with Ever After High logo on them and in front there is a white border decorated with swirls, pearls and three red apple. 
Apple's hair has been curled with straws and hot water for the shootings, one part a bit too tightly but let's just agree she just got up from the bed. ;) 

Applella on mukavan kevyt mutta minun makuun vähän turhan värikäs meikki laittautumiseen tai aamuksi. Hänellä on persikkaisen pinkkiä ja hopeista luomiväriä, hieman poskipunaa ja vaalean pinkit huulet.
Pidän hänen hiustyylistään, jakaus sopii hänelle todella hyvin ja vaikka hänen oikealla puolella on tehdasvalmisteinen kihara joka sitkeästi tippuu hänen kasvoilleen se on todella kaunis yksityiskohta.

Apple has nice and light make-up but a bit too colourful to my taste for morning or to get ready for an evening. She has light peach shaded pink and silver eyeshadow, hint of blush and light pink lips. I like her hairstyle, the parting suits her so well and even though there is factory made curl on the right that drops to her face all the time it's really pretty detail. 

Applella on hiuksissa suloinen omenakoriste. Tästä nukesta huomasi jo että hiuksia on vähemmän kuin signaturella koska kiharoiden teon ja avalun jälkeen oli silti vaikeaa peitellä paljastuneita kaljuja läikkiä.

Apple has adorable red apple clasp in her hair. From this doll you could tell there is a lot less hair than signatures as after making and opening the curls it was hard to try to cover all the bald spots.

Applen aamutakki on vaaleanpunainen, suloisen pehmeä ja lyhyt. (Mutta jos muistelee miten lyhyitä hamosia itsekin nuorena piti niin juuri sopivan pituinen.) Takissa on puolipitkät, suorat hihat ja vaaleanpunainen rypytys reunassa.
Yöpaita on punainen musta-kultaisella vinoneliökuviolla. Siinä on musta, painettu kaulus ja suuri musta rusetti sen alla. Helmaa kiertää valkoinen pitsi.
Ottaen huomioon Applen aseman ja rakkauden näyttävyyteen tämä asu on yllättävän... no, laimea. Nätti, mutta perusnätti.

Apple's robe is pink, soft and short. (But thinking how short skirts I wore in that age it's just right.) It has straight sleeves up to elbow and pink ruffle around the robe. The nightgown is red with black and golden diamond print. It has printed on, black collar and big, black bow under it. The hem has white lace. 
Considering Apple's rank and love to showing clothes this outfit is surprisingly... well, lame. It's pretty, but it's pretty basic. 


Jopa aamutossut on korkealla korolla. Ne ovat valkeat, hieman helmenhohtoiset ja jatkavat samaa vinoneliö kuviota, nyt vain painettuna napeilla syvään. (Miksi tätä kuviota oikeasti kutsutaan?) Edessä on valkoinen rusetti jonka keskellä on valkoinen omena.

Even slippers are with high heels. They're white with slight pearl shine and have the same diamond pattern but this time the buttons press it's to 3D. (What this pattern is really called?) In the front there is white bow with white apple.   

Aika suunnitella minkä kruunun laittaisikaan päähän.     Time to plan which crown to wear.    

Ensimmäinen kruunu on vaaleanpunainen helmillä koristeltu tiara jonka keskellä on sydän ja sen päällä rusetti jonka keskustassa on omena. Minun makuuni tämä on hieman liian äitelän ylisöpö. Väri ja tyyli ei sovi Applelle lainkaan. Toinen kruunu on kultainen, vahvoin filigraanikoristein koristeltu jonka keskustassa on punainen kivi. Tämä kruunu on todellakin Applelle sopiva mutta laittautumiseen tai kotiinpaluu -juhlaan liian kuninkaallinen ja vakava.

The first crown is pink, pearl decorated tiara which has a heart in the middle and on top of that a bow with an apple in the middle. To my taste this is overly cute and sweet. The colour and style doesn't fit Apple. The other crown is golden, filigreeing decorated and has a red stone in the middle. This crown truly fits Apple but to getting ready or for Thronecoming it's too royal and serious.

Sydänten päivä ja sen salaiset juhlat on tulossa ja nyt on aika laittautua kaikessa rauhassa mukavasti pyjamassa valmiiksi juhlaan.
