Metsän läpi/Through the Woods Poppy O' Hair

Poppyn pakkaus ei enää näytä kirjalta. Sivu on vaalea ja siinä on hänen nimi ja status, aivan kuten edessäkin, jossa on myös hänen kuvansa. Poppy tulee hopeisen standin ja harjan kanssa. Hänen hiukset ovat samat kuin perus Poppylla; vasen puoli on vaalean kuparinen, leikattu lyhyeksi ja vedetty geelillä korvan taakse. Oikea puoli on violetti ja leikattu vinoon. Jakaus on vasemmalla puolen ja violetit hiukset on vedetty oikealle. Nuken hiukset eivät ole onneksi yhtä geelintäytteiset kuin perusversiolla ja ne vaikuttavat olevan paksummat. Päässään hänellä on pinkki, neulottu baskeri.

Poppy comes with a silver stand and brush. Her hair are the same as the signature Poppy; left side is strawberry blonde, cut short and pulled behind her ear with gel. The right side is violet and cut askew. Her hair is parted on the left side and violet hair is pulled to the right to her longer hair side. The doll's hair aren't as gel filled as the signature doll had, luckily! They also seem to be thicker. She has a pink, knitted beret in her head. 

Poppyn luomiväri on harmaa jossa minusta olisi voinut olla jotain vaihtelua värin voimakkuudessa edes. Huulet ovat haalistuneen tumman lilan väriset.

Poppy's eyeshadow is grey and I'd wish it would have even any nuances in the strength of the colour. Her lips are muted dark lilac. 

Viitan sijasta hänellä on viittamainen bolero suurella kauluksella. Väriltään se on violetin ja pinkin sekoitus, pehmeissä täplissä. Tämän päällä on musta saksista muodostuva salmiakkikuviointi.
Mietin että leikkaisinko kainaloissa olevat saumat jotta hänelläkin olisi viitta mutta eihän tämä pysyisi päällä enää ja pidemmän päälle perinteisen asian muuttaminen moderniksi on mitä Poppy tekee. Malliltaan kuitenkin bolero ei ole suosiekkani.

Instead of a cape she has cape-like bolero with a big collar. It's coloured violet and pink with big, soft blots. On top of this there is a diamond pattern made from scissors. 
I thought to cut the seams in the armpits open so she would have a real cape too but this wouldn't stay on then. Besides, turning basic thing to modern is what Poppy is all about. Still, I'm not a fan of this garment.

Boleron lisäksi Poppy on pukeutunut harmaaseen minimekkoon epäsymmetrisellä helmalla jonka pidempi osuus on eri puolella kuin hänen hiustensa pidempi puoli. (Hieno yksityiskohta.) Mekossa on aaltomainen, musta kuviointi, pinkit reunat ja läpinäkyvät olkaimet. Hänellä on myös violetilla, mustalla ja pinkillä painettu metsämaisema  (hyvällä mielikuvituksella) nilkkapituisissa housuissaan.
Tämä asukokonaisuus koruineen on yksi yhteen ohjelman kanssa (yay!). Tämä minimekko on myös suosikkini. Jos löydän tuollaista kangasta teen ehdottomasti tuon mekon itselleni.

Beside the bolero Poppy is dressed in grey mini dress with asymmetrical hem that is longer from the opposite side of her longer hair. (Lovely detail!) The dress has a wavy, black pattern, pink edges and invisible straps. She also has black, violet and pink ankle length pants with a forest pattern (if you have good imagination).
This outfit is the same as in the show with all the jewelry included (yay!). This mini dress is also my favourite. If I find fabric like that this is a dress I'm definitely making for myself.

Kengät ovat mustat, nilkkapituiset korkosaappaat joiden etuosa on turkista ja kengän ympäri menee mustia niittejä.

The shoes are black, ankle length high heel boots with fur in the front and rivets going around the shoe.

Poppylla on hopeiset hiustenkuivaajakorvakorut. Vasemmalla puolen on pelkkä hiustenkuivaaja (ylösalaisin) mutta oikealla puolen siitä roikkuu ketjun päässä kampa.

Poppy has silver hair dryer earrings. On her left side it's a plain hair dryer (upside down) but on the right side there is a comb dropping from it in a chain.

Kaulassa hänellä on runsas, hopeinen, saksista tehty riipuskaulaketju josta erillisessä ketjussa roikkuu vielä yhdet sakset. Rannekoru näyttää klipsuista tehdyltä ja keskiosana näyttäisi olevan taiteut sakset joiden päät on kuin kellon viisarit. Tästä roikkuu hopeinen ketju jossa on pienet sakset.

In her neck she has a full, silver dropping necklace made from scissors. From a separate chain one scissors are dropping more low. The bracelet looks braided and as a center it seems like there would be scissors cut in half and the ends would be like a clock's pointers. From there a silver chains drops with scissors in the end. 

Poppylla on pinkki kompassirasia (jota ei näy ohjelmassa) jonka kannessa on kompassi sekä koukeroisia koristeita, takana on kahva. Rasian voi avata ja sisällä on sitten varsinainen kompassi. Nuket ovat ainakin fiksusti varustautuneet metsäretkeen kun on kartta ja kompassi mukana!

Poppy has a pink compass box (which isn't in show) with a compass and swirls on top and a handle in the back. You can open the box and find the real compass inside. The dolls are smart as they go to forest with a map and a compass!

Poppylla on lila lyhty yksinkertaisin koristein ja kultaisella kynttilällä. Pohja on myös kultainen. Kahva on punottu nauha. Ohjelmassa lyhty oli hopeinen ja mielestäni se olisi sopinut asuun paljon paremmin.

Poppy has a lilac lantern with simple decorations and a golden candle. The bottom is also golden. The handle is a twisted cord. In the show the lantern was silver and I think it would have been more suitable to the outfit and look better.

Blondie tulee kultaisen standin ja harjan kanssa. Hänen hiukset valuvat hupussa olevasta reiästä taakse. (Jälleen kerran paha tapaus laatikkohiuksista.) Blondien hiukset ovat hyvin suorat, harjauksen jälkeen vain lievästi aaltomaiset ja hän näyttää suorilla hiuksilla uskomattoman hyvältä. Hänen otsahiukset ovat terävä kolmio ja peittävät vain puolet hänen otsastaan. En oikein pidä siitä, hän näyttää niin paljon paremmalta leveällä otsahiuksilla jotka hänellä oli myös ohjelmassa. Mutta variaatiot eivät aina ole pahasta.

Blondie comes with a golden stand and brush. Her hair flows down from the hole in the back of her hood. (Once again bad box hair day.) Blondie's hair are actually quite straight, after brushing they are only mildly wavy and she looks amazing with straight hair. Her fringe is a small triangle and hides only half of her forehead. I don't like it much, she looks so much better with full fringe she had in the show. But variations aren't always bad.

Blondien naama ei ole oikeasti noin kiiltävä luonnossa mutta siinä on joko kimmeltäviä partikkeleita tai kiiltävä lakkakerros joka heijastaa vahvasti valoa.
Hänen kulmat ovat hieman suoremmat ja antavat hänelle tarkemman katseen hieman surumaisen sijasta. Hänellä on hieman lilaa ja pääosin ruskeaa luomiväriä. Hänen huulet ovat vaaleanpunaiset.

Blondie's face isn't that shiny in nature but it has either shimmering particles or shiny varnish on top that reflects light strongly. 
Her eyebrows are a bit more straight and give her more sharp look instead the bit sad one. She has a stripe of lilac and mostly brown eyeshadow. Her lips are light pink. 

Blondien asu koostuu hupullisesta, lyhyestä viitasta ja minimekosta. Viitan huppu on sininen ja karheampaa kangasta, viitta itsessään on sinistä satiinia jossa on vaaleansinisiä pyörteitä, keltaisia nallenpäitä ja rusetteja. Reunassa on keltainen rypytys ja viitta kiinnitetään keltaisilla nauhoilla. Mekko on keltainen sinisellä metsäkuvioinnilla. Edessä on tyllistä tehty sininen rusetti ja olkaimet ovat siniset kuminauhat joihin on rypytetty tylliä. Hänellä on siniset, läpinäkyvät polvisukat.
Valitettavasti mekon päällä ei ole läpinäkyvää kangasta joka on kiinnitetty ohuella vyöllä jonka näimme ohjelmassa, ne näytti niin kauniilta.

Blondie's outfit consists of a short, hooded cape and a tight mini dress. The hood of the cape is blue and some other fabric than the shiny, blue satin of the cape which has light blue swirls, yellow bear heads and bows and a yellow ruffle in the bottom. The cape is closed with yellow strings. The dress is yellow with blue forest pattern. In the front there is a blue, tulle bow and the straps are blue with ruffled tulle on them. She has blue, slightly transparent knee high socks. It's a shame she doesn't have the see-through fabric and belt which we saw in the show, they looked pretty.

Nämä näyttävät minusta talvikengiltä, ei vaelluskengiltä... Mutta kauniilta talvikengiltä.
Ne ovat mustat, joiden etualaosa on rypytetty kengän päällisosuuteen varpaiden kohdalta. Kannat on koristeltu koukeroilla, pisteillä ja rusetilla. Kengät nyöritetään ylös mustaan turkikseen asti ja nyöristä roikkuu pieni avain.
Pidän että hänelle on annettu polvisukat korkeiden saappaiden sijaan, nämä yltävät hieman nilkan yli. Tämä antaa vaihtelua nukkemallistoon ja polvisukat vain sopivat Blondien tyyliin täydellisesti. Oli sääli piilottaa niitä pitkien saappaiden alle.

I think these look more like winter boots than forest boots.... But pretty winter boots!
They are black and the most lower part is gathered to the upper part where the toes are. Heels are decorated with swirls, dots and a bow. The shoes are laced all the way up and from the lace there is a small key hanging. 
I like that she has been given knee high socks instead of high boots, these goes a bit over the ankle. This gives variety to the doll line and the knee high socks just fit Blondies style perfectly. It would be shame to hide them under boots. 

Blondiella on keltainen muistio mukanaan. Sen kannessa on koristekoukeroita sekä sydän koristeellisen avaimenreiän (jonka päällä on rusetti) ympärillä. Reunassa on suuri avain jonka päässä on lisää koukeroita ja sydän. Minä ajattelen että se on myös kynä muistiolle. Kirjan voi avata, mutta siellä ei ole mitään sisällä kuin pieni alue jonne voi taitella pienen paperinpalasen jos haluaa. Takapuolella on kahva kädelle. Muistio on lisätty vain nukelle sillä ohjelmassa sitä emme näe.

She has a yellow journal with her which has a heart and swirls in the front as a decoration around a key hole with bow on it. It has a big key on the side with swirls and a heart on top. I think it's also the pen for the journal. You can open the book but it's empty, it has tiny space in it so you can fold a small piece of paper inside if you wish. On the backside is has a handle. The journal is added for the doll only as we don't see it in the show.

Myös Blondiella on oma lyhty mukanaan. Ohjelmassa lyhty on kultainen mutta nukella se on vaaleansininen kultaisella kynttilällä. Lyhty on yksinkertainen kiemuroilla koristeltu, ja kynttilän alapuolella on neliapilan näköinen koriste jonka reunat ovat kuin pilvet. Kahva on suuri ja pyöreä.
Ohjelmassa Blondiella oli kultainen rannerengas jonka olisin toivonut nukella olevan myös.

Also Blondie has her lantern with her. In the show it's fully golden but the doll has it light blue with a golden candle. The lantern is simple and decorated with swirls. Under the candle there is a golden cross-like decoration with sides looking like clouds. The handle is big and round.
In the show she had a golden bracelet which I hoped would have made to the doll also.

Ashlynnin pakkauksessa on edelleen kirjamaisia piirteitä, mutta se ei enää näytä kirjalta. Sivu on vaalea ja siinä on hänen nimi ja status, aivan kuten edessäkin, jossa on myös hänen kuvansa. Tausta on metsämaisema ja edessä on pieni kanto luomassa tunnelmaa. Takana on kartta joka näyttää tien sekä milloin on vaihdettava lasikengät lasisiin vaellusbootseihin. The back of the box is a map which shows the way to the festival and when to change from glass slippers to glass hiking boots. Click the picture and you'll see it better!

Ashlynn tulee kultaisen standin ja harjan kanssa. Hänen hiukset on vedetty taakse hupun peittoon ja valuvat siinä olevasta reiästä taakse. Jälleen kerran paha tapaus laatikkohiuksista.

Ashlynn comes with a golden stand and brush. Her hair is pulled back under the hood and flows down from the hole in it. Once again bad box hair. 

Ashlynilla on pieni siivu turkoosia luomiväriä, muuten hänen silmämeikkinsä on vihreä. Vihersilmäisille ei suositella vihreää ettei luomiväri vie huomiota silmien väristä mutta minusta tämä on yksi kauneimmista meikeistä mitä Ashlynnilla on.
Hänellä on vaaleanpunaiset, hieman kimmeltävät huulet.

Ashlynn has little of turquoise eyeshadow, otherwise her eye make up is green. If you have green eyes green it isn't recommended eyeshadow as it would mute your eyes but I think this one of the most beautiful make up Ash has ever had. 
She has light pink, a bit shimmering lips.






Huppu on korallin vaaleanpunainen, mattamaista kangasta ja viittaosa on samanvärinen mutta sinisillä ja pinkeillä kukilla ja tehty satiinista. Reunassa on rypytys ja huppu kiinnitetään ohuilla, turkooseilla nauhoilla. Mekko on yläosasta istuva ja hame on tehty neliöstä jotta sen helma on epätasainen. Ensimmäinen ajatus tästä oli kuinka laiskaa tai säästäväistä kankaan suhteen. Kun sitten nukkea liikuttaa ja pitää käsissä epätasainen helma näyttää hyvälle ja luo enemmän vaikutelmaa vaellusmekosta. Kankaan pohjaväri on turkoosi ja siinä on mustalla metsäkuvioita ja pinkkejä osioita joista en ole ihan varma mitä ne on. Mekossa on hupun väriset tyllistä tehdyt puhvihihat jotka nähdessäni olin aivan innoissani, ne on niin söpöt ja tekevät mekosta hänen näköisen.

The hood is coral pink, matte fabric and the cape is the same colour but with blue and bright pink flowers. It's made of satin and has ruffle in the bottom. The hood is secured with thin, turquoise ribbons. The dress is fitted from top and the skirt is a square so the hem is uneven. My first thought was how lazy or a way to save fabric that was. But when you move the doll and hold her in your hands the uneven hem looks good. It makes a feeling of a more sensible dress to a forest trip. The basic colour of dress is turquoise and it has black forest pattern in it with pink splatters which I have no idea what they are. The dress has tulle, puffed sleeves of the same colour as the hood and when I saw them I was so excited!  They are so cute and make the dress look like her. 

Ensimmäisenä nukessa rakastuin näihin kenkiin. Lasiset vaellussaappaat, kuinka paljon Tuhmimommaksi tästä enää pääsee? Kengät ovat läpinäkyvän siniset ja tehty ruusuköynnöksistä ja lehdistä miltei polviin asti. Edessä on nyörityksen alla suorakaide mutta minusta kengät näyttäisivät paremmalta ilman sitä. Ehkä ne eivät kestäisi tosin leikkejä sitten. Varpaiden yli menee lehdistä ja ruusuista tehty osio ja kengät ovat varpaista avonaiset. (Ainakin suovesi pääsee heti ulos.) Kannat ovat koristeltu lehtiköynnöksillä.

In the doll I fell in love with these shoes first. Glass hiking boots, how much more Cinderella can you get? The shoes are translucent blue and made of rose vines and leaves almost up to the knee. In the front under the lacing there is a rectangle piece and I think these would look so much better without it. I think they wouldn't hold the rougher playing then though. Over the toes there is leaves and roses and toes are open. (At least swamp water can fall straight out.) The heels are decorated with leaf vines. 

Ohjelmassa Ashlynnilla ei ollut karttaa mutta hänellä oli kutsu Metsän Juhliin joissa oli ohjeet joten tämä sivuaa kutsukorttia. Kartta on keltainen käärö joka on avattu mutta reunat ovat yhä kääntyneet. Yläreunassa on kompassi, kartassa on jaoteltu osiot vahvoilla viivoilla onko ne metsää vai suota ja heidän reittinsä on merkitty katkoviivalla. Kartan alapuolella on kahva jotta se pysyy kädessä.

In the show Ashlynn didn't have a map but she did have an invitation to the Forest Festival with instructions so it's close. The map is a yellow scroll which is open but the ends are still turned. On upper edge there is a compass, the map has strong lines separating the forest and swamp areas and their path is marked by a dashed line. On the bottom of the map there is a handle so the map stays in the hand.

Ashlynnin lyhty on ihanan yksityiskohtainen. Ohjelmassa se on kultainen mutta pidän tästä sini-kultaisesta versiosta paljon enemmän. Helmistä tehty nauha, kello joka on viittä vaille kaksitoista lyhdyn yläosassa, pieni sininen lintu lyhdyn päällä ja kultainen lehtikoristelu alhaalla. Kultainen kynttilä palaa lyhdyn sisällä.

Ashlynn's lantern is adorably detailed. In the show it's fully golden but I like this blue and gold version better. It has a strap made from pearls, a clock that is five to twelve in the upper part of lantern, a small blue bird on top and a golden leaf decoration in the bottom. There is a golden candle that burns inside. 

Mekko saa hieman glamouria kultaisesta, lehdistä tehdystä vyöstä. Ranteessa hänellä on kultainen kello joka taitaa edistää koska se näyttää viittä vaille yksi. Punotusta rannekkeesta roikkuu kultaisia helminauhoja.
Ohjelmassa näkyy että Ashlynnilla olisi samaan sarjan kuuluva kaulakorukin mutta valitettavasti se ei ole nukelle tullut.

The dress gets some glamour from a golden leaf belt. In her wrist she has a golden clock that seems to run fast as it shows five to one. From the braided wristband drops golden pearl straps. 
In the show Ashlynn had a matching necklace but unfortunately it didn't come for the doll.

Metsän läpi / Through the Woods C. A. Cupid

Cupid tulee oikeasti mustan standin ja hopeisen harjan kanssa. Hänen otsahiukset on vedetty sivulle pilkistämään mustan villa baskerin alta, muutoin hiukset valuvat vapaina.

Cupid comes with silver stand and brush. Her bangs are swiped left under the black, wool beret, otherwise her hair flows free. 

Cupidilla on ruskeaa luomiväriä ja hieman vaaleaa glitteriä yläluomella. Hänellä on nudet huulet ja vaaleanpunainen sydän keskellä huulia. Koska olen kuvannut nuken ilman luonnonvaloa hänen ihonsa reagoi raakaan valoon kimaltamalla, mutta nuken iho on kyllä matta ja kiiltämätön.

Cupid has brown eyeshadow and a bit of glitter on upper lid. She has nude lips and light pink heart in the middle of her lips. As I have shot the doll without natural light her skin reacts to it by shining. The skin is matt and does not shine in real life. 

Cupidilla on satiininen, pinkki puoliviitta valkoisilla sydänkuvioilla. Viittaa kiertää pinkki rypytys ja siinä on pinkki, satiininen pystykaulus. Viitassa on hihanreiät. Viitan alla hänellä on jerseynen mekko kimonohihoilla. Yläosa on musta jossa menee pinkkejä Cupidin nuolia ylös ja alas. Alaosa muuttuu mustasta pinkiksi jossa on valkeita, ohuita raitoja. Siinä on heikko metsäkuviointi.
Pidän mekosta todella paljon. Yksinkertainen mutta näyttää hyvältä hänellä ja sopii kevyeen kävelyyn metsässä vaikkei yksityiseen, harvinaiseen juhlaan kuitenkaan. Viittaan en ole yhtä ihastunut. Se muistuttaa todella paljon hänen Getting Fairest viittaa (ei ole tehty nukeksi) erilaisella kankaalla. Se vain näyttää aamutakkimaiselta.

Cupid wears a satin, pink half cape with white hearts pattern, pink ruffles on edges and a pink, satin, standing collar. The cape has sleeve holes. Underneath she has a jersey dress with kimono sleeves. The upper part is black and has up and down going Cupid's arrows, the pencil skirt changes from dripping black to pink with white, thin stripes. It has a faint forest pattern in it. 
I really like the dress. It is very simple but looks good on her and fits a nice walk in forest even though isn't suitable for a big, secluded party. The cape I'm not so keen about. It reminds a lot of her Getting Fairest cape (not made into doll) in different fabric. It just looks like a morning robe.

Cupidin kengät ovat IHANAT. Miltei polvipituiset, kupariset nahkabootsit joissa on kaksi hihnaa yläpäässä, sydämenmuotoiset soljet joiden läpi menee nuoli ja jopa tehty muotolaskoksia jotta kengät näyttäisivät aidosti käytetyiltä. Kanta on koristeltu kierteisillä lehtikuvioilla. Hänellä on myös (löysät polvinivelet ja outo asento) mustat verkkosukkahousut.

Cupid's boots are AMAZING. Almost up to the knee, copper, leather boots with two straps on up with heart buckles and an arrow going through them. There is even wrinkles so the boots would look truly used. The heel is decorated with leaf-like swirls. She also has (loose knee joints and odd posture) black fishnet stockings.

Cupidin siivet ovat kuin enkelinsiivet. Ne ovat täysin helmiäisenvalkoiset, kuperat ja taittuvat pyöristetyistä päistä ulospäin. Siivet on kiinnitetty kaulakoruun.

Cupid's wings are like angel wings. They are completely pearl shimmering white, convex and the rounded edges turn outwards. The wings are attached to her necklace.

Kaulakoru on pronssinen ketju josta edessä roikkuu kuusi nuolta. Koru istuu hieman huonosti pystykauluksen päälle ainakin kun sitä paikallaanpitävät kuminauhat ovat paikoillaan. Siipien paino nostaa korua hieman ulospäin. Ohjelmassa Cupidilla oli myös nuolikorvakorut mutta nukella ei ole edes korvanreikiä.

The necklace is a chain from where drops six, bronze arrows. The necklace doesn't sit well on top of the collar when the rubber band that holds it in place is attached. The wings are heavy enough to lift the necklace to point a bit out. In the show Cupid has also arrow earrings but the doll doesn't even have holes for them.

Cupidilla on musta vyö nuolenpäätä muistuttavalla kuvioinnilla ja suuri, musta, sydän solki.

Cupid has a black belt with pattern that reminds of an arrowhead. The belt has a big, black heart buckle. 

Cupidin mukana tulisi pinkki - kultainen lyhty mutta valitettavasti minun nukellani sitä ei ole koska olen ostanut nuken käytettynä. Cupidin pinkit sydänkiikarit kuitenkin oli mukana joilla on hyvä katsella kaukaisuuteen tai vakoilla ihastustaan. Tässä nukke eroaa ohjelmasta sillä Cupidilla ei missään vaiheessa ollut kiikareita. Hänen lyhtynsä olisi myöskin pronssinen ohjelman mukaan.

Cupid would come with pink and golden lantern but unfortunately I don't have it as I bought the doll used. Cupid's pink heart binoculars are still intact. They're great for looking for distances or spy on your crush. Here the doll differs from the show as Cupid didn't have binoculars at any point. Also her lantern would have been bronze.

Tämä nukkelinja esitellään kolmoskauden tarinassa Metsän läpi joka on jaettu kuuteen webisodiin. Tarinassa tytöt ovat matkalla Lumottuun metsään juhliin mutta heidät eksytetään matkalla. Tämä nukkelinja on myös ensimmäinen jossa nuket eivät vastaa täysin ohjelman hahmoja.

This doll line is introduced in Chapter Three story Through the Woods which is divided into six webisodes. In the story the girls are on their way to the Enchanted Forest to a party but they are lead to wrong way. This line is also the first one where dolls don't completely follow the character looks in the show.

Minusta on mielenkiintoista että kahdelle hahmoista on sunniteltu huppuviitta ja kahdella on baskeri ja lyhyt viitta tai bolero. 

I think it's interesting that two of the characters have a short cape with hood while the two others have a beret and short cape or bolero.
