Metsän läpi/Through the Woods Poppy O' Hair

Poppyn pakkaus ei enää näytä kirjalta. Sivu on vaalea ja siinä on hänen nimi ja status, aivan kuten edessäkin, jossa on myös hänen kuvansa. Nuken tausta on metsämaisema ja edessä on pieni kanto luomassa tunnelmaa. Laatikon takana on kartta joka näyttää heidän reitin. Kuvaa klikkaamalla saat paremman kuvan kartasta.

Poppy's box doesn't represent a book anymore. The side is light and has her name and status there as well as in the front where is also her picture. In the back of the doll there is a forest scene and in front there is a stump creating the atmosphere. The back of the box is a map of their route. Click the picture and you'll see it better!

Poppy tulee hopeisen standin ja harjan kanssa. Hänen hiukset ovat samat kuin perus Poppylla; vasen puoli on vaalean kuparinen, leikattu lyhyeksi ja vedetty geelillä korvan taakse. Oikea puoli on violetti ja leikattu vinoon. Jakaus on vasemmalla puolen ja violetit hiukset on vedetty oikealle. Nuken hiukset eivät ole onneksi yhtä geelintäytteiset kuin perusversiolla ja ne vaikuttavat olevan paksummat. Päässään hänellä on pinkki, neulottu baskeri.

Poppy comes with a silver stand and brush. Her hair are the same as the signature Poppy; left side is strawberry blonde, cut short and pulled behind her ear with gel. The right side is violet and cut askew. Her hair is parted on the left side and violet hair is pulled to the right to her longer hair side. The doll's hair aren't as gel filled as the signature doll had, luckily! They also seem to be thicker. She has a pink, knitted beret in her head. 

Poppyn luomiväri on harmaa jossa minusta olisi voinut olla jotain vaihtelua värin voimakkuudessa edes. Huulet ovat haalistuneen tumman lilan väriset.

Poppy's eyeshadow is grey and I'd wish it would have even any nuances in the strength of the colour. Her lips are muted dark lilac. 

Viitan sijasta hänellä on viittamainen bolero suurella kauluksella. Väriltään se on violetin ja pinkin sekoitus, pehmeissä täplissä. Tämän päällä on musta saksista muodostuva salmiakkikuviointi.
Mietin että leikkaisinko kainaloissa olevat saumat jotta hänelläkin olisi viitta mutta eihän tämä pysyisi päällä enää ja pidemmän päälle perinteisen asian muuttaminen moderniksi on mitä Poppy tekee. Malliltaan kuitenkin bolero ei ole suosiekkani.

Instead of a cape she has cape-like bolero with a big collar. It's coloured violet and pink with big, soft blots. On top of this there is a diamond pattern made from scissors. 
I thought to cut the seams in the armpits open so she would have a real cape too but this wouldn't stay on then. Besides, turning basic thing to modern is what Poppy is all about. Still, I'm not a fan of this garment.

Boleron lisäksi Poppy on pukeutunut harmaaseen minimekkoon epäsymmetrisellä helmalla jonka pidempi osuus on eri puolella kuin hänen hiustensa pidempi puoli. (Hieno yksityiskohta.) Mekossa on aaltomainen, musta kuviointi, pinkit reunat ja läpinäkyvät olkaimet. Hänellä on myös violetilla, mustalla ja pinkillä painettu metsämaisema  (hyvällä mielikuvituksella) nilkkapituisissa housuissaan.
Tämä asukokonaisuus koruineen on yksi yhteen ohjelman kanssa (yay!). Tämä minimekko on myös suosikkini. Jos löydän tuollaista kangasta teen ehdottomasti tuon mekon itselleni.

Beside the bolero Poppy is dressed in grey mini dress with asymmetrical hem that is longer from the opposite side of her longer hair. (Lovely detail!) The dress has a wavy, black pattern, pink edges and invisible straps. She also has black, violet and pink ankle length pants with a forest pattern (if you have good imagination).
This outfit is the same as in the show with all the jewelry included (yay!). This mini dress is also my favourite. If I find fabric like that this is a dress I'm definitely making for myself.

Kengät ovat mustat, nilkkapituiset korkosaappaat joiden etuosa on turkista ja kengän ympäri menee mustia niittejä.

The shoes are black, ankle length high heel boots with fur in the front and rivets going around the shoe.

Poppylla on hopeiset hiustenkuivaajakorvakorut. Vasemmalla puolen on pelkkä hiustenkuivaaja (ylösalaisin) mutta oikealla puolen siitä roikkuu ketjun päässä kampa.

Poppy has silver hair dryer earrings. On her left side it's a plain hair dryer (upside down) but on the right side there is a comb dropping from it in a chain.

Kaulassa hänellä on runsas, hopeinen, saksista tehty riipuskaulaketju josta erillisessä ketjussa roikkuu vielä yhdet sakset. Rannekoru näyttää klipsuista tehdyltä ja keskiosana näyttäisi olevan taiteut sakset joiden päät on kuin kellon viisarit. Tästä roikkuu hopeinen ketju jossa on pienet sakset.

In her neck she has a full, silver dropping necklace made from scissors. From a separate chain one scissors are dropping more low. The bracelet looks braided and as a center it seems like there would be scissors cut in half and the ends would be like a clock's pointers. From there a silver chains drops with scissors in the end. 

Poppylla on pinkki kompassirasia (jota ei näy ohjelmassa) jonka kannessa on kompassi sekä koukeroisia koristeita, takana on kahva. Rasian voi avata ja sisällä on sitten varsinainen kompassi. Nuket ovat ainakin fiksusti varustautuneet metsäretkeen kun on kartta ja kompassi mukana!

Poppy has a pink compass box (which isn't in show) with a compass and swirls on top and a handle in the back. You can open the box and find the real compass inside. The dolls are smart as they go to forest with a map and a compass!

Poppylla on lila lyhty yksinkertaisin koristein ja kultaisella kynttilällä. Pohja on myös kultainen. Kahva on punottu nauha. Ohjelmassa lyhty oli hopeinen ja mielestäni se olisi sopinut asuun paljon paremmin.

Poppy has a lilac lantern with simple decorations and a golden candle. The bottom is also golden. The handle is a twisted cord. In the show the lantern was silver and I think it would have been more suitable to the outfit and look better. 

Metsän läpi / Through the Woods

Tämä nukkelinja esitellään kolmoskauden tarinassa Metsän läpi joka on jaettu kuuteen webisodiin. Tarinassa tytöt ovat matkalla Lumottuun metsään juhliin mutta heidät eksytetään matkalla. Tämä nukkelinja on myös ensimmäinen jossa nuket eivät vastaa täysin ohjelman hahmoja.

This doll line is introduced in Chapter Three story Through the Woods which is divided into six webisodes. In the story the girls are on their way to the Enchanted Forest to a party but they are lead to wrong way. This line is also the first one where dolls don't completely follow the character looks in the show.

Minusta on mielenkiintoista että kahdelle hahmoista on sunniteltu huppuviitta ja kahdella on baskeri ja lyhyt viitta tai bolero. 

I think it's interesting that two of the characters have a short cape with hood while the two others have a beret and short cape or bolero.

Poppy O'Hair nukke / Poppy O'Hair doll

Poppy O'Hair on perusnukkien kolmosaaltoa ja tulee kaksoissiskonsa Hollyn kanssa samassa paketissa. Poppy on perusvaalea ja peruspituinen. Hänellä on samanväriset vaalean kuparit hiukset kuin sisarellaankin, mutta hän on leikannut ne lyhyiksi ja epäsymmetrisiksi. Vasen puoli on lyhyempi ja vedetty geelillä taakse, jakaus on vasemmalla puolen ja oikea puoli pitenee nopeasti hartiapituiseksi teräväksi kärjeksi. Päällyshiukset jakauksesta oikealle on värjätty violeteiksi.
Poppyn värit ovat musta, pinkki ja violetti ja kuten sisarensakin hän koristaa teemaansa leteillä mutta myös niiteillä, ketjuilla ja saksilla.

Poppy O'Hair is third wave from basic dolls and comes with her twin sister Holly in the same package. Poppy is basic height and light. She has the same strawberry blonde hair colour as her sister but she has cut them asymmetrical and short. The left side is shorter and pulled back with gel, parting is on the left side and the right side gets longer quick to a sharp spike in front. The top of the hair from the parting to the right is dyed violet. 
Poppy's colours are black, pink and violet and like her sister her theme goes around braids. She also adds rivets, chains and scissors to that theme. 

Kaksoissisaret yhdessä. Holly tosin tulee kultaisen harjan ja standin kanssa, Poppylla molemmat ovat hopeiset.

The twin sisters united. Holly though comes with golden brush and stand while Poppy have silver ones. 

Poppylla on turkoosin vihertävät silmät ja kiiltävän pinkki ja violetti luomiväri sekä pinkit huulet. Verrattuna Holly nukkeen Poppyn kulmakarvat näyttävät maalatuilta kun taas Hollyn näyttävät painetuilta. 
Vaikka Poppy on kuninkaallista syntyperää hän käyttää kruunun tai tiaran sijaan pinkkiä, sidottua huivia hiuspantana. 

Poppy has turquoise-green eyes and shiny, light pink and violet eyeshadow and pink lips. Compared to Holly -doll Poppy's eyebrows look painted where Holly's look printed. 
Even though Poppy is royal heritage she doesn't use crown or tiara. She uses a pink, tied scarf as a headband.

Poppy kietoutuu jättimäiseen, harmaaseen huiviin jossa on pinkki unikko, hakaneula, violetti ketju ja pienet sakset rintaneulana. Sen alla hänellä on empiremekko jonka etuosan sivut ovat mustat ja keskusta pinkki. Mekossa on pinkit tyllistä tehdyt raglanhihat joissa on nyöritys-printti edessä ja takana. Helmaosa on violetista pinkkiin väriä vaihtava kangas jossa on palmikko printti ja hopeisia saksia sekä... noh, länttejä. Vyötäröllä hänellä on musta, nahkainen, palmikoitu vyö jonka etuosassa on ristikkäiset nyörit.

Poppy intertwines into a huge, grey scarf which has a pink poppy, safety pin, violet chain and small scissors as brooch. Underneath she has an empire dress with black front sides and pink front. It has pink tulle raglan sleeves with lacing print in front and back. The hem switches from violet to pink and has a braid printing and silver scissors and blots on it. On the waist she has black, leather, braided belt with crossing laces.

Poppylla on mustat legginsit joiden sivut ovat mustaa tylliä joissa on punainen nyöritys. Miksei tällaisia legginssejä (tai sukkahousuja) löydy oikeassa elämässä paksummille aikuisille? Nämä ovat ihanat!
Poppyn kengät ovat pinkit bootsit joita hän ei ole vaivautunut nyörittämään ylös asti. Korot ovat hopeiset ja niissä on sakset. 

Poppy has black leggings which sides are black tulle with red lacing print. Why this kind of leggings (or pantyhose) aren't made in real life for bigger adults? I love these! 
Poppy's shoes are pink boots that she hasn't bothered to lace all the way up. The heels are silver and decorated with scissors.

Poppylla on hopeiset saksikorvakorut joista vasemmasta lähtee kaksi ketjua ylemmäksi korvaan ja kiinnittyy renkailla korvanlehteen. 

Poppy has silver scissors earrings. The left has two chains leaving to upper ear where it's held by two rings. 

Poppyn saksimania jatkuu sormuksessa; kyllä, se on hopeiset sakset. Rannekoruna hänellä on violetti hiuspompula (ihana yksityiskohta!), hopeinen letitetty naru sekä niittiranneke josta lähtee hopeisia ketjuja.

Poppy's scissors mania continues in her ring; yes, it's silver scissors! As bracelet she has violet bobble (loving it as a detail!), silver braided string and rivet bracelet with dropping silver chains. 

Poppyn käsilaukku on hiusstylistin musta nahkalaukku mustalla, letitetyllä nyörillä. Kassissa hänellä on pinkki krokotiilin leuat, hopeiset sakset ja violetti kampa. 

Poppy's handbag is hairstylists black, leather bag with black, braided strap. In it she has pink crocodile jaws, silver scissors and violet comb.

Poppy O'Hair

Poppy O'Hair on Tähkäpään toinen tytär, jolla ei ole kohtaloa sillä hänen sisarensa Holly O'Hair tulee olemaan seuraava Tähkäpää. Hän ei myöskään suostunut valitsemaan puolta kohtalokiistassa tehden hänestä ensimmäisen puolueettoman hahmon ohjelmassa. Hän on hieman hukassa mitä tehdä sillä hänellä ei ole selvää kohtaloa mutta samalla hän on innoissaan että hän voi muokata oman kohtalonsa olemaan mitä vain.
Poppy on hieman sulkeutuneempi ja varautuneempi kuin avoin sisarensa mutta kiinnostunut kaikesta ympärillään; erityisesti huiveista ja hiuksista. Poppy on Ever Afterin suosituin ja kuumin hiusstylisti ja työskentelee Tornisalongissa. Hän on kaksoissisarensa vastakohta; hän on punkimpi, valmis kokeilemaan uutta, moderni ja varovainen puheissaan. Mutta he kokevat vain täydentävänsä toisiaan.

Poppy O'Hair is the other daughter of Rapunzel. She doesn't have a destiny as her twin sister Holly O'Hair will be the next Rapunzel. She also didn't choose a side in the destiny conflict making her the first neutral character, or as she started to be call; A Roybel. She is a bit lost what to do without a destiny but is also excited to make one for herself. 
Poppy is more introverted and careful than her open sister but she is interested about everything around her: especially scarves and hair. Poppy is the hottest hair stylist in ever After and works in the Tower Hair Salon. She is the opposite of her twin sister: she's more punk and edgy, ready to try new, modern and more careful what she lets out of her mouth. But they see that they just compliment each other.

Minä pidän Poppysta ja vapautta jota hän edustaa. Hän on kaunis ja virkistävä hahmo prinsessojen ja perinteiden keskellä. Punk ja perinteiset kädentaidot kulkevat käsi kädessä hänessä ja hänen huiveissaan. (Oikeasti, täydellinen look.)

Ohjelman kannalta Poppyn hahmo on hieman huono sillä hänen olemassaolonsa todistaa koko Kuninkaallinen/Kapinallinen konfliktin turhaksi. Jos hän voi muokata oman kohtalonsa katoamatta, miksei muutkin? Konflikti ratkaistu.

I like Poppy and the freedom she represents. She is beautiful and refreshing character in the middle of princesses and traditions. Punk and tradition (-al hand skills) goes hand in hand in her and her scarves. (Honestly, that look is perfect.)

Thinking of the show Poppy's character is bad for it as she makes the whole Royal/Rebel conflict pointless. If she can make her own destiny and never go POOF! (disappear), why not all the others? Conflict solved.
