My Archery Club Dolls came today! It's the last line of dolls I buy. A bit melancholy. 

Metsän läpi / Through the Woods Ashlynn Ella

Ashlynnin pakkauksessa on edelleen kirjamaisia piirteitä, mutta se ei enää näytä kirjalta. Sivu on vaalea ja siinä on hänen nimi ja status, aivan kuten edessäkin, jossa on myös hänen kuvansa. Tausta on metsämaisema ja edessä on pieni kanto luomassa tunnelmaa. Takana on kartta joka näyttää tien sekä milloin on vaihdettava lasikengät lasisiin vaellusbootseihin. Ashlynn's box has still few book-like elements but the boxes don't represent books anymore. The side is light and has her name and status there as well as in the front where is also her picture. In the back there is a forest scene and in front there is a stump creating the mood. The back of the box is a map which shows the way to the festival and when to change from glass slippers to glass hiking boots. Click the picture and you'll see it better!

Ashlynn tulee kultaisen standin ja harjan kanssa. Hänen hiukset on vedetty taakse hupun peittoon ja valuvat siinä olevasta reiästä taakse. Jälleen kerran paha tapaus laatikkohiuksista.

Ashlynn comes with a golden stand and brush. Her hair is pulled back under the hood and flows down from the hole in it. Once again bad box hair. 

Ashlynilla on pieni siivu turkoosia luomiväriä, muuten hänen silmämeikkinsä on vihreä. Vihersilmäisille ei suositella vihreää ettei luomiväri vie huomiota silmien väristä mutta minusta tämä on yksi kauneimmista meikeistä mitä Ashlynnilla on.
Hänellä on vaaleanpunaiset, hieman kimmeltävät huulet.

Ashlynn has little of turquoise eyeshadow, otherwise her eye make up is green. If you have green eyes green it isn't recommended eyeshadow as it would mute your eyes but I think this one of the most beautiful make up Ash has ever had. 
She has light pink, a bit shimmering lips.






Huppu on korallin vaaleanpunainen, mattamaista kangasta ja viittaosa on samanvärinen mutta sinisillä ja pinkeillä kukilla ja tehty satiinista. Reunassa on rypytys ja huppu kiinnitetään ohuilla, turkooseilla nauhoilla. Mekko on yläosasta istuva ja hame on tehty neliöstä jotta sen helma on epätasainen. Ensimmäinen ajatus tästä oli kuinka laiskaa tai säästäväistä kankaan suhteen. Kun sitten nukkea liikuttaa ja pitää käsissä epätasainen helma näyttää hyvälle ja luo enemmän vaikutelmaa vaellusmekosta. Kankaan pohjaväri on turkoosi ja siinä on mustalla metsäkuvioita ja pinkkejä osioita joista en ole ihan varma mitä ne on. Mekossa on hupun väriset tyllistä tehdyt puhvihihat jotka nähdessäni olin aivan innoissani, ne on niin söpöt ja tekevät mekosta hänen näköisen.

The hood is coral pink, matte fabric and the cape is the same colour but with blue and bright pink flowers. It's made of satin and has ruffle in the bottom. The hood is secured with thin, turquoise ribbons. The dress is fitted from top and the skirt is a square so the hem is uneven. My first thought was how lazy or a way to save fabric that was. But when you move the doll and hold her in your hands the uneven hem looks good. It makes a feeling of a more sensible dress to a forest trip. The basic colour of dress is turquoise and it has black forest pattern in it with pink splatters which I have no idea what they are. The dress has tulle, puffed sleeves of the same colour as the hood and when I saw them I was so excited!  They are so cute and make the dress look like her. 

Ensimmäisenä nukessa rakastuin näihin kenkiin. Lasiset vaellussaappaat, kuinka paljon Tuhmimommaksi tästä enää pääsee? Kengät ovat läpinäkyvän siniset ja tehty ruusuköynnöksistä ja lehdistä miltei polviin asti. Edessä on nyörityksen alla suorakaide mutta minusta kengät näyttäisivät paremmalta ilman sitä. Ehkä ne eivät kestäisi tosin leikkejä sitten. Varpaiden yli menee lehdistä ja ruusuista tehty osio ja kengät ovat varpaista avonaiset. (Ainakin suovesi pääsee heti ulos.) Kannat ovat koristeltu lehtiköynnöksillä.

In the doll I fell in love with these shoes first. Glass hiking boots, how much more Cinderella can you get? The shoes are translucent blue and made of rose vines and leaves almost up to the knee. In the front under the lacing there is a rectangle piece and I think these would look so much better without it. I think they wouldn't hold the rougher playing then though. Over the toes there is leaves and roses and toes are open. (At least swamp water can fall straight out.) The heels are decorated with leaf vines. 

Ohjelmassa Ashlynnilla ei ollut karttaa mutta hänellä oli kutsu Metsän Juhliin joissa oli ohjeet joten tämä sivuaa kutsukorttia. Kartta on keltainen käärö joka on avattu mutta reunat ovat yhä kääntyneet. Yläreunassa on kompassi, kartassa on jaoteltu osiot vahvoilla viivoilla onko ne metsää vai suota ja heidän reittinsä on merkitty katkoviivalla. Kartan alapuolella on kahva jotta se pysyy kädessä.

In the show Ashlynn didn't have a map but she did have an invitation to the Forest Festival with instructions so it's close. The map is a yellow scroll which is open but the ends are still turned. On upper edge there is a compass, the map has strong lines separating the forest and swamp areas and their path is marked by a dashed line. On the bottom of the map there is a handle so the map stays in the hand.

Ashlynnin lyhty on ihanan yksityiskohtainen. Ohjelmassa se on kultainen mutta pidän tästä sini-kultaisesta versiosta paljon enemmän. Helmistä tehty nauha, kello joka on viittä vaille kaksitoista lyhdyn yläosassa, pieni sininen lintu lyhdyn päällä ja kultainen lehtikoristelu alhaalla. Kultainen kynttilä palaa lyhdyn sisällä.

Ashlynn's lantern is adorably detailed. In the show it's fully golden but I like this blue and gold version better. It has a strap made from pearls, a clock that is five to twelve in the upper part of lantern, a small blue bird on top and a golden leaf decoration in the bottom. There is a golden candle that burns inside. 

Mekko saa hieman glamouria kultaisesta, lehdistä tehdystä vyöstä. Ranteessa hänellä on kultainen kello joka taitaa edistää koska se näyttää viittä vaille yksi. Punotusta rannekkeesta roikkuu kultaisia helminauhoja.
Ohjelmassa näkyy että Ashlynnilla olisi samaan sarjan kuuluva kaulakorukin mutta valitettavasti se ei ole nukelle tullut.

The dress gets some glamour from a golden leaf belt. In her wrist she has a golden clock that seems to run fast as it shows five to one. From the braided wristband drops golden pearl straps. 
In the show Ashlynn had a matching necklace but unfortunately it didn't come for the doll.

Metsän läpi / Through the Woods

Tämä nukkelinja esitellään kolmoskauden tarinassa Metsän läpi joka on jaettu kuuteen webisodiin. Tarinassa tytöt ovat matkalla Lumottuun metsään juhliin mutta heidät eksytetään matkalla. Tämä nukkelinja on myös ensimmäinen jossa nuket eivät vastaa täysin ohjelman hahmoja.

This doll line is introduced in Chapter Three story Through the Woods which is divided into six webisodes. In the story the girls are on their way to the Enchanted Forest to a party but they are lead to wrong way. This line is also the first one where dolls don't completely follow the character looks in the show.

Minusta on mielenkiintoista että kahdelle hahmoista on sunniteltu huppuviitta ja kahdella on baskeri ja lyhyt viitta tai bolero. 

I think it's interesting that two of the characters have a short cape with hood while the two others have a beret and short cape or bolero.

Mirror Beach

Mirror Beach on nukkelinja joka ei esiinny ohjelmassa. Mie uskon että se tulee kirjoista, koska yhdessä niistä oppilaat kävivät tapaamassa Etelätuulta rannalla.

Mirror Beach is a doll line that doesn't show in the webisodes. I believe it comes from the books as in one the students visited the South Wind in a beach. 

Sarjaan kuuluu Apple White, Madeline Hatter ja Ashlynn Ella. En omista näitä nukkeja koska olen sinänsä pihi. Nukeissa uutta on ainoastaan uimapuku ja hame. 

The line has Apple White, Madeline Hatter and Ashlynn Ella. I do not own these dolls as I'm kinda cheap with these. The only thing new with these are the swimming suit and skirt.

Applen nukke näyttää silmistään ja hiuksistaan hyvin paljon Getting Fairest Applelta mutta huulet ovat punaisemmat.
Uimapuku on söpö mutta mustavalkeat sivut ja musta, rypytetty kaulus ei jotenkin kuulosta Applelta. Pidän kyllä kauluksesta. Punainen etumus valkoisine täplineen sen sijaan on hyvin klassinen ja olisi ollut kokonaisenakin sopiva. Hame näyttää halvalta ja mustaa kultaglitteristä tylliä käytttää enemmän Madeline tai Cupid. Uskon että tässä on haluttu antaa Applelle uutta tyyliä mutta kokonaisuus on aurinkoiselle tytölle aivan liian tumma. Valkoisen hameen tai kokopunaisen uimapuvun kanssa tämä olisi voinut olla täysiosuma.
Aurinkolasit on punainen versio perus Briar Beautyn kruunulaiseista, kaulakoru on kultainen versio perus Madeline Hatterin kaulakorusta ja kengät ovat kultaiset varsiot Ashlynn Ellan Kohtalopäiväkengistä. Noh, ystävät lainaavat tavaroitaan toisilleen...

Apple looks a lot like Getting Fairest Apple from her eyes and hair but her lips are more red. 
The swimsuit is cute but black and white sides with black, ruffled collar doesn't sound like Apple. I do like the collar. The red front with white dots however is very classic and would have worked alone. The skirt looks cheap and black tulle with gold glitter is something that Maddie or Cupid would use. I believe they have wanted to give a new look to Apple but for so sunny girl the whole look is just too dark. With a white skirt or fully red swimsuit this could have been a bulls eye.
The sunglasses are a red version of Signature Briar Beauty's crown glasses, the necklace is a golden version of Signature Madeline Hatter's necklace and the shoes are a golden version of Legacy Day Ashlynn Ella. Oh well, friends do lend stuff from each other...

Madeline Hatter

Madelinella on perusnuken silmät ja hiukset mutta huulet ovat vaaleammat.
Pidän, ihme kyllä, tästä asusta vaikka uimapuvun ja hameen kangas sekä kultainen kaulus on otettu suoraan Kohtalonpäivä nukelta. Yksi syy juurikin on etten ole hankkinut nukkea on se, että tämä muistuttaa liikaa nukkeja jotka minulla jo on.
Aurinkolasit ovat turkoosi versio Getting Fairest Briarin aurinkolaseista ja kengät ovat siniset perus Cedar Woodin kengät.

Madeline has the eyes and hair from the Signature doll but her lips are lighter. 
I, oddly enough, like this look even though the fabric for the swimsuit and the skirt and the golden collar are straight from Legacy Day Maddie. One reason why I haven't got this doll is because she looks too much like the dolls I already have. 
The sunglasses are a turquoise version of Getting Fairest Briar's sunglasses and shoes are blue version from Signature Cedar Wood.

Ashlynn Ella

Ashlynilla on Kohtalonpäivänuken meikit ilman glitteriä ja suorat mutta hieman lyhyemmät hiukset kuin kahdella aiemmalla nukella.
Hänen uimapuku on samaa kangasta kuin yksi kerros hänen Kohtalonpäivämekossaan ja hame on samaa kangasta mitä perusnukella on helman päällä. Minusta silti tämä on onnistunut ja raikas ulkoasu. Paremmin onnistunut kierrätys kuin Maddiella.
Aurinkolasit ovat persikkainen versio Getting Fairest Briar Beautyn aurinkolaseista ja kengät ovat läpinäkyvän persikka versio perus Briarin kengistä. En ole täysin varma mutta kaulakoru näyttää todella paljon Ashlynnin Kohtalonpäiväkaulakorulta persikkaisena versiona.

Ashlynn has Legacy Day make-up without the glitter and straight but a bit shorter hair than her two earlier dolls had. 
Her swimming suit is the same fabric as one of the hem layers in her Legacy Day dress was and the skirt is the same fabric which the Signature doll has on top of her hem. I think this is still well done and fresh look. More successful recycling than Maddie had. 
The sunglasses are a peach version of Getting Fairest Briar Beauty's glasses and the shoes are translucent, peach version of Signature Briar's shoes. I'm not completely sure but the necklace looks a lot like Ashlynn's Legacy Day necklace, only as a peach version. 

Kohtalonpäivä Ashlynn Ella nukke / Legacy day Ashlyn Ella doll

Ashlynn on tässä ottanut enemmän vaikutteita luonnonlapsen luonteestaan kuin omasta sadustaan. Hänellä on vaaleanpunainen viitta lehtiköynnöskuviolla ja edessä kulkee kultaisista lehdistä tehty koristereuna. Viitassa on korkea, rypytetty kaulus takana ja kultaiset sidontanauhat. Nukke tulee kultaisen, avaimenmuotoisen hiusharjan ja kultaisen standin kanssa.
Mielestäni viitta ei oikein sovi Ashlynille sillä väri on liian vahva ja vie hänen omaa väriä pois. Koristereunat myös tekee viitasta äärimmäisen tönkön. Kauluksesta pidän, se on jotain Punahilkan ja Raven Queenin välimaastosta mutta pehmeämpi luonteentaan.

Ashlynn has token here more influence of her nature child personality than from her own story. She has light pink cape with leaf vines print and in front there is golden leaf decorative border. The cape has high, ruffled collar in back and golden tying ribbons in front. The doll comes with golden, keyshaped hairbrush and a golden stand. 
I don't think the cape suits her as the colour is too strong and reduces her own radiance. The decorative borders also makes the cape really stiff. I like the collar, it's somewhere in middle of Little Red Riding Hood and Raven Queen but softer looking. 

Ashlynnille on vasemmalla tehty etuhiuksista kaksi pientä lettiä jotka kiertävät taakse ja oikea puoli on kierretty taakse. Jakaus on reilusti oikealla puolen. Muuten hiukset saavat aaltoilla vapaasti. Vaikka nukella on runsaasti hiusta, päälaella sitä on yllättävän vähän, kruunun alta joutui puikon avulla asettelemaan hiuksia ettei kaljuja läikkiä näkyisi. Tästä huolimatta tämä on minusta todella kaunis kampaus kunhan hieman löysytin lettejä takaa että ne laskeutuisivat enemmän.
Tärkeänä päivänä päähän laitetaan oikea kruunu; pinkki lehdistä ja kukista tehty jonka keskellä on kultaiset kivet koristeena.

Ashlynn has got two small braids on the left made from her front hair circling to the back. She has quite strong parting on right and the hair from right is swirled around and pulled back also. Otherwise her hair can flow freely. Even though the doll has much hair, on the top of the head there is surprisingly little of it. I had to settle it inside of the crown to hide the bald spots. Neverminding this, I think this is very beautiful hairdo. I did loosen up the braids so they would drop lower and made it more perfect. 
On the important day she wears a real crown; a pink one made from leaves and flowers that have golden rocks in the middle as decoration.

Meikissä Ash on turvautunut luottoväreihinsä; turkoosia luomiväriä ylä- ja alaluomella ja pinkkiä pieni ripaus ylhäällä. Glitteriä on ripoteltu kulmiin asti. Huulet ovet kiiltävän pinkit.

In make-up Ash trust to her signature colours; turquoise eyeshadow to upper and lower lid and hint of pink on the top. All this is finished with glitter to the brows. Lips have shiny pink lipstick. 
As earrings she has turquoise, full flowing branches with lots of leaves. Her necklace is golden and made from pearls and leaves, in the middle there is two pink flowers to brighten it up.

Mekko ja ulkoasu ilman viittaa vasemmalla ja mekko yksityiskohtaisemmin oikealla. Mekon yläosa on turkoosi kultaisilla kuvioilla rintojen yläpuolelle asti ja jatkuu korallin pinkkinä tyllinä kaulaan asti. Tyllistä on tehty myös lyhyet, rypytetyt hihat. Hameosa rakentuu turkoosin kynähameen päälle ja on edestä reilusti avoin. Alin ja pisin kerros on tumman turkoosia tylliä kukkakuviolla. Seuraava, lyhyempi kerros on samalla kuviolla mutta paksumpaa ja kirkkaampaa kangasta. Ylin ja lyhin kerros on samaa tylliä kuin alinkin kerros. Kaikki avonaiset hameosat on rypytetty yläosaan kiinni. Asuun kuuluu myös mustat, kultaisena kimaltavat verkkosukkahousut.

The outfit without the cape on left and dress with higher detail on the right. The bodice of the dress is turquoise with golden decoration over the bust from where it continues with coral-pink tulle up to the neck. From the tulle there is also short, gathered sleeves. The skirt builds around a short, turquoise pencil skirt and is well open from the front. The lowest and longest layer is dark turquoise tulle with flower print. The next, shorter layer is the same print but as brighter and thicker fabric. The shortest layer is the same tulle as the lowest. All open fronted layers of skirt are gathered to the bodice. The outfit has also black fishnet stockings that glimmers in gold.

Kengät ovat asun heikoin kohta. Muoviset ja taipuilevat vaikka onkin niin tönkön ja mitäänsanomattoman näköiset. (Samat kengät nähdään halpis perusversiolla, joka kertoo minusta kengistä ihan tarpeeksi.) Kaunis pinkki väri ja selkeät lehdet eivät pelasta tätä kenkäkatastrofia. Ja vielä Tuhkimon kenkäfriikillä tyttärellä!

The shoes are the weak point of the look. They are soft and rubber like even though they look stiff and uninspiring. (The same shoes are on the cheap Basic version of Ashlynn which tells enough of the shoes IMHO.) The beautiful pink colour and clear leaves doesn't save this shoe catastrophe. And on the shoe freak daughter of Cinderella!

Nuken mukana tulee kultainen sormus jossa on lintu ja jonka unohdin kuvatessa. Muina koruina on pinkeistä helmistä tehty rannerengas jossa on kukka keskellä, sekä kultainen, kaksirivinen rannerengas joka on hieman avoin ja päissä on lentävät, kultaiset linnut. Käsilaukku on kultaisista lehdistä ja kukista tehty jonka etuosassa on kauniita, pinkkejä kukkia koristeena. Hihnana toimii oksa jolla istuu kultainen lintu. Ihana idea ja kauniisti toteutettu.

The doll comes with a golden bird ring that I forgot while shooting. Other jewelry are pink pearl bracelet with pink flower and a golden, two row bracelet which is a bit open and ends on golden, flying birds. The handbag is made from golden leaves and flowers and the front has beautiful pink flowers on it. The strap is a piece of branch where a golden bird sits. I think it's a lovely idea and well made.

Ashlynn's key to the Storybook of Legends. It's golden and decorated with leaves. 

Toisen Kohtalopäivä nukkesarjan kirjat ovat n. puolta kapeammat kuin ensimmäisten, mutta ovat edelleen avautuvat ja hyviä säilytyspaikkoja mm. sormukselle ja avaimelle. Ashlynin kirja on vaalean turkoosi kultaisin lehtikoristein ja keskellä olevan peilin ympärillä on kevyempiä lehtikoristeita ja kultainen lintu. Kirjaa tulee pitää kuin Kuninkaallisen täytyy.

The second Legacy Day doll series books are about half thinner than the first ones. They still open up and are great place to storage the dolls ring and key. 
Ashlynns book is light turquoise with golden borderlines and leafdecorations. Around the mirror in the center there is lighter leaf branches and a golden bird. 
The book must be held like a Royal should.

Hunter Huntsman nukke / Hunter Huntsman doll

Hunter on toinen ensimmäisestä tuplapakkauksesta, hän tulee Ashlynn Ellan kanssa.
Hunter on ruskettunut ja luonnollisesti rotevampi kuin tyttönuket. Hän on paksumpi ja tarvitsee leveämmän ständipidikkeen joka on siitä ärsyttävää että se on aina kadoksissa. Onneksi Hunter pienellä tuella pysyy kyllä itsekin pystyssä. Hän on pidempi (pisin muotti) ja hänellä on LIIKKUVAT NILKAT! Mie haluan tyttönukeillekin liikkuvat nilkat että heidän jalat saisi muuhunkin kuin korkokenkäasentoon!
Hunterilla on tummanruskeat hiukset jotka on leikattu täysin lyhyeksi toiselta puolen ja loput on kammattu vasemmalle puolen. Hänen päävärinsä on ruskea sekä vihreä. (Housut ovat harmaanruskeat) Ei varmaan kovin yllättävää että Hunterin teema pyörii vahvasti luonnon ja metsän ympärillä.

Hunter is the other doll in the first double pack, he comes with Ashlynn Ella. 
Hunter has tan skin and is naturally bigger than the girl dolls. He is wider and needs a wider stand holder which is annoying as it's always missing. Luckily with a bit of support Hunter stays up by himself. He is taller (tallest mold) and he has MOVING ANKLES! I want moving ankles to girl dolls too so their feet could be set flat and not always be in high heel position!
Hunter has dark brown hair that is cut really short from the other side and the rest is combed to the left. His main colours are brown and green. (Those trousers are brownish grey.) Probably not so surprising that his theme rolls around nature and woods.

Hunterilla on ruskeat silmät, vahvat kulmakarvat, ruskea luomiväri (älä kysy, ei mitään hajua miksi se on pitänyt laittaa) ja luonnolliset huulet. Hänellä on vahvat leukaluut ja... näyttävä leuka?
Ja miun nukella on hilsettä kun geeli on lähtenyt karisemaan. Lyhyt puoli on flokattu (lyhyttä nukkaa), ei maalattu.

Hunter has brown eyes, strong eyebrows, brown eyeshadow (don't ask why, I don't know why that had to be there) and nude lips. He has strong jaw and... great chin? 
And my doll has dandruff as the gel has started to drop off. The short hair is flocked (short tuft), not painted.

Hunterilla on ruskea, hupullinen nahkaliivi jonka takapuoli on ruskeaa, kuvioitua kangasta sekä tummanvihreä paita tämän alla, mutta nämä ovat oikeasti yhtä osaa. Alla hänellä on vihreä, hihaton metsäkuviollinen toppi. (Ja joka näyttää lihaksikkaat käsivarreet oikein hyvin. Kiiltävä nuken pinta saa näyttämään Hunterin miltei öljytyltä mikä minusta tietysti on huvittavaa.) Housut ovat harmaan ruskeat, istuvat, suorat farkut joiden lahkeet on tungettu bootseihin. Niihin on kirjailtu sepalus, taskut ja eteen on lisätty vyölenkit.

Hunter has brown, hooded leather vest which has brown, print decorated fabric back and dark green shirt under this though in reality these are just one piece. Under these he has green, sleeveless shirt which has a forest print. (Which shows his muscles very well. The shiny plastic makes him look almost oiled which I found hilarious of course.) The trousers are grey with hint of brown (like dirt), straight jeans with legs tucked in boots. The jeans has decorative pockets and fly and two belt links in front. 

Nämä bootsit ovat uskomattoman hienosti tehty. Ne näyttävät paksulta nahalta joissa on nahkaremmejä ja nyöritys. Hyvin tukevat ja vanhat, paljon käytetyt bootsit joissa Hunter on samoillut satoja kilometrejä metsissä isänsä kanssa. (Ne näyttää siltä!)

These boots are incredibly well done. They look like thick leather with straps and lacing. Very sturdy and old, used a lot. Boots in which Hunter has walked hundreds of kilometers in the woods with his father. (They look like it!)

Hunterilla on yksinkertainen, nahkainen rannekoru oikeassa kädessä ja sormuksen sijaan hän tulee avainnipun kanssa. Tai no, hopeisessa nipussa on koristeita kuten kirveellä koristeltu pallo, sulkia ja sama hopeinen merkki kuin laukussa muttei avaimia.

Hunter has simple, leather wristband in his right hand and instead of a ring he comes with bundle of keys. Well, in the silver bundle there is decorations like a ball with an axe, feathers and the same symbol that he has in his bag but no keys at all. 

Hunterilla on ruskea, nahkainen, korjailtu lähetin laukku hopeisella koristeella ja pitkällä nahkanyörillä. Tämä on hienosti tehty laukku, yksi suosikeistani. Minusta on ihana että kansi aukeaa oikeasti, painatus on hieno ja kuluneen näköinen ja minusta on hienoja yksityiskohtia korjatut saumat. Hunter tulee kuitenkin köyhästä perheestä joten siellä tavarat korjataan eikä osteta uutta. Voisin kuvitella että tämä on hänen äitinsä käsin tekemä laukku nahasta jota Hunter ja isäpappa on tuonut kotiin.

He has brown, leather, fixed messenger bag with silver decoration pin and a leather strap that can be worn over his body. This finely made bag is one of my favourite accessories. I love that the lid does open, the print is great and looks worn and I think the details (fixed seams or ripping) are awesome. He does come from a poor family so they fix things and don't just buy new. I could think this would be his mother's hand made bag from the leather they have brought home.

Ashlynn on ensimmäinen   -tuplapakkaus! Sillä mitä prinsessa olisi ilman omaa rakasta, salaista poikaystäväänsä? Draamallinen juonipaljastus ensi viikolla!
Second wave nukkena Ashlynia myydään yksikseen. Itse ostin ensimmäisen Ashini keräilijältä ilman poikaystävää ja myöhemmin hankin tuplapakkauksen. Tämä on tuplapakkauksen Ashlynn sillä toiselta oli hiukset avattu. (Mutta muuten nukke sisälsi kaiken mitä tämäkin)
Ashlynin iho on ruskettunut, se on Applen/Ravenin ja Briarin välimaastosta mutta sävy voi vaihdella. Minulla on yksi nukke joka on miltei yhtä tumma kuin Briar ja yksi on harmahtava. Ashlynilla on vaalean kultaiset hiukset joista puolet otsahiuksista on vedetty sivuun, puolet nutturaan päälaelle ja sivusta osa on letitetty pään yli toiselle puolen. Hänen päävärinsä on turkoosi, pinkki ja kulta ja hänen teemansa pyörii vahvasti kenkien ja luonnon ympärillä. Ashlynn on peruspituinen.

Ashlynn is sold alone as a second wave doll. I bought my first Ash alone from another collector and later got the double pack. This is the double pack Ash as the other dolls hair was opened. (But otherwise has all this one has)
Ashlynn has tan skin, it's between Apple/Raven and Briar but the shade can vary. I have one that is almost as tan as Briar and one that is quite gray. Ashlynn has light strawberry blonde hair from which half is pulled to the side from the front and the other half to the high bun. From the side a part is braided to go over her head. Her main colours are turquoise, pink and gold and her theme goes strongly around shoes and nature. Ashlynn is basic height. 

 

Ashlynilla on vihreät silmät ja hyvin luonnollinen ruskea ja vaaleanpunainen meikki. Hänen huulien ympärys näyttää hieman oudolta sillä muotti on tehty jopa tätäkin täyteläisemmille huulille mutta maalattu pienemmäksi. (Onneksi!)
Ashlynin kruunu on vaaleanpunainen hiuspanta jossa on lehtikuviointi ja lehteviä oksia ja lehtiä nousee pannasta. Se on sopiva hahmolle mutta ei suosikkiasusteeni millään mitalla.

Ashlynn has green eyes and very natural brown and light pink make up. Her lips look a bit odd as the mold is made for even fuller lips than this but the lips have been painted smaller. (Luckily!)
Ashlynn's crown is pink headband with leaf decoration and standing, leaf filled branches and leaves. It suits her well but is absolutely not my favourite accessory at all. 

Ashlynin korvakorut ovat kultaiset korkokengät jotka roikkuvat kultaisesta helmestä. Hänellä on helmikaulakoru jossa on lintuhäkkiriipus jonka päällä lentää kaksi lintua vapaana.
Näissä ensimmäisissä nukeissa koruihin saatettiin kiinnittää paljon huomiota, esim. korvakoruissa on oikea korko, koristelut kenkäosassa ja pieni rusetti jalkapöydän päällä. Osalla uusista signature nukeista ei edes ole korvakoruja.

Ashlynns earrings are golden high heels that hangs from a golden pearl. The necklace is golden pearls and a birdcage with two flying birds on it. With the first dolls the accessories could get a lot of attention. For example the earrings has a real heel, decoration on the shoe part and a little bow. Some of the new signature dolls don't even have earrings. 

Ashlynilla on yhdeksi osaksi ommeltu mekko jossa näyttäisi olevan turkoosi-valkea alusmekko pinkeillä kukilla, vaaleansiniset peplumhelmat kultaisilla koristeilla (selvää Disney vaikutetta näkyvissä) ja turkoosi paita joka muodostaa v-kaula-aukon kultaisine reunuksineen. Hihat ovat pienet, pinkit puhvihihat joista lähtee turkoosit, pitkät, läpinäkyvät ja levenevät hihat joissa on rypytyssaumat kyynärpään molemmin puolin.
En ole sinisen tai turkoosin ystävä mutta minusta tämä mekko on aina ollut kaunis. Vaikka kultakoristellut osat ovatkin tulppaanihelmaisia.

Ashlynn has one part dress that looks like she would have turquoise and white, pink flower print slim dress under with tulip peplums from light blue mesh with golden print (Disney influence). She has turquoise shirt on it that has deep v-neckline and golden stripes on the edge of the opening. The sleeves are small, pink puffed sleeves from which leaves light blue see-trough full sleeves that widens up a bit. On both side of elbow is a gathering seam. 
I'm not a fan of blue or turquoise but this dress has always been beautiful to me. Even thought the tulip like hem.  

Mie rakastan näitä kenkiä. Lasikengät tietysti, vaikka Grimmin sadussa kengät olivat hopeaa ja kultaa. Yksi muunnos keksi lasikengät ja Disney otti tämän muunnoksen omakseen joten tässäkin nähdään vahva Disney -vaikutus.
Kengät ovat kukin ja lehdin koristellut ja lehtevät köynnökset nousevat miltei polviin asti. Nämä on myös laadukkaasta muovista tehty sillä ohut kanta on hyvin tukeva.

I absolutely love these shoes. Glass shoes of course, even though in Grimm's story the shoes were silver and gold on the last night. One version does have glass shoes and I that's where Disney has made it famous so here is once again strong Disney influence.
The shoes are decorated with flowers and leaves and vines with leaf climb almost to knees. These are also made from good plastic as the thin heel is very sturdy.

Tässä on hänen kultainen lintusormus jota voi myös ajatella että hänellä on pikkulintu laskeutunut hänen kädelleen. Käsilaukku muistuttaa minusta Big Beniä. :D Tämä valko-musta tarra on vain yhdellä sivulla näyttämässä että kohta kello on kaksitoista. Muut puolet käsilaukusta ovat kultaisten kellojen peitossa jotka näyttävät samaa aikaa. Laukku on koristeltu kauniisti ja hihnana on sama, suloinen helminauha kuin kaulassakin.
Vaikka siroon Ashlyniin verrattuna käsilaukku on iso ja kömpelön näköinen se on minusta todella kaunis ja hyvin tehty.

Here you can see her golden bird ring. You can also think it's a bird that has landed to her hand. The handbag reminds me of BigBen. :D This black and white sticker is only on one side to show that clock is almost twelve. The other sides in bag has golden watches which shows the same time. The bag is decorated beautifully and the strap is same, sweet pearl strip as she has in her neck. 
Even though compared to the graceful Ashlynn this is quite clumsy looking bag I think it's pretty and well made and suits her.

Tässä on hänen rannerenkaansa, kultainen helminauha josta roikkuu korkokenkiä.
Itseasiassa vasta tässä kuvassa huomasin että kädessä on jotain omituista; muovi! Otin sen sitten pois. Oletan että se on nuken suojamuovi kun se lähtee tehtaalta tai osastolta puettavaksi jolloin ne pitäisi poistaa mutta kaikkia ei muisteta. Miulla on yksi Apple White nukke jolla ihmettelin kovasti torsossa olevaa muovi minimekkoa mutta samaa sarjaa siis tämän muovin kanssa. Ainakin käsi oli täydellisen uudessa kunnossa kun poistin muovin. ;)

Here is her golden high heeled shoe bracelet. 
I only now in this picture noticed the odd plastic on her hand and took it off. I guess it's the protecting plastic when they leave to be dressed and they should be removed then but not all are. I have one new Apple doll who has her torso in the plastic and I wondered about it a lot. But the hand was at least pristine after removing the plastic. ;)

Ashlynn Ella

Aslynn Ella on Tuhkimon tytär ja muista prinsessoista poiketen töissä -missäpä muuallakaan kuin kenkäkaupassa. Hän on aivan hulluna kenkiin. Miltei yhtä hulluna kuin (taas muista prinsessoista poiketen) poikaystäväänsä, mutta hys, se on salaisuus. Koska hän ei kuulu Tuhkimon tarinaan mitenkään.
Ashlynn rakastaa luontoa ja eläimiä syvästi ja viettääkin aikaansa mieluiten Lumotussa Metsässä. Hän on ainut joka oikeasti osaa puhua eläimille ja ymmärtää näitä. Ashlynilla on muutenkin äärimmäisen suuri sydän; hän auttaa mielellään kaikkia jotka apua tarvitsee ja on ystävällinen kaikille. Äidistään poiketen Ash on "aamuprinsessa", eli hänen lumouksensa rikkoutuu keskipäivällä keskiyön sijasta. Hänen vaatteensa myös muuttuvat ryysyiksi jos hän myöhästyy jostain, esimerkiksi tunnilta.

Ashlynn Ella is the daughter of Cinderella and differing from other princesses she works -where ever but in a shoe store. She is crazy about shoes. Almost as crazy as (again differing from other princesses) about her boyfriend but hush, it's a secret. He doesn't belong to the Cinderella story at all. 
Ashlynn loves nature and animals deeply and loves to spend time in the Enchanted Forest. She is the only one who can truly talk to animals and understand them. She has anyway a huge heart; she gladly helps anyone and is friendly towards everyone. Differing from her mother she is more of a "morning princess" and her spell breaks in midday instead of midnight. Her clothes also turns to rags if she is late, for example from class. 

Ashlynn oli ensimmäinen hahmo johon samaistuin hyvin vahvasti. Metsää ja eläimiä rakastava uuttera työntekijä? Joo, kuulostaa tutulta. Vaikka hahmonkehitys on hänen kohdallaan ollut loppujenlopuksi hyvin vähäistä Ash on edelleen yksi suosikkihahmoistani. Hänen nukkensa on myös eräitä suosikkinukkejani, Ashlynn on vain uskomaton, luonnollinen kaunotar. Tykkään ajatella että hänen sisäinen kauneutensa pursuaa ulos niin vahvasti että se on syy miksi hän on maassa kaunehin. ;)

Ashlynn was the first character I identified strongly with. A hard worker who loves animals and forests? Yeah, sounds familiar. Even though the character development with her has been... well, almost hasn't been she is still one of my favourite characters. Her dolls are also one of my favourite dolls. Ashlynn just is an incredible natural beauty. I like to think the beauty she holds inside shines through and that's why she's the fairest of them all. ;)
