Palataanpa vielä kohtalopäivään kun Maddien uudet kuvat on otettu.

Madeline Hatter on ainut Kohtalopäivä nukke jolla ei ole viittaa. Hänellä on sen sijaan hyvin runsas ja yksityiskohtainen asu. Hiukset ovat suoraan laatikosta joten ovat hyvin sotkuiset. Tulen muokkaamaan ne vastaamaan ohjelmassa nähtyä kampausta.
Etuhiukset on pään keskeltä pyöräytetty hatun alle poninhännälle, loput hiukset on vedetty pään päälle poninhännälle ja kiharrettu.

Let's return to Legacy Day once more as Maddies new pictures are ready.

Madeline Hatter is the only Legacy Day doll without a cape. Instead she has very full and detailed outfit. Her hair are straight out of box so they are quite messy. I will make them look more like the hairdo in the webisode.
Her fronthair is rolled from the front of her head under the hat to a ponytail and rest is gathered on top of her head to a ponytail and curled. 

Maddien meikki on mukavan luonnollinen ja lähellä hänen perusnukkensa meikkiä. Hänellä on pinkkiä ja lilaa luomiväriä ja glitteriä kulmakarvoihin asti. Hänen huulipuna on vaaleanpunaista.
Hänellä on suloinen, sininen sormus jossa on teekuppi lautasineen ja lusikoineen.

Maddies make-up is nice, natural and close her Signature make-up. She has pink and lilac eyeshadow, glitter up to the brows and light pink lips. 
She has adorable, blue ring that's a teacup, platter and spoon. 

Madelinella on takki jossa on jakku ja edestä avoin hame samassa. Jakku on kullalla ja sinisellä raidoitettu, kyynärpituisin, olkapäistä puhvitetuin hihoin joiden päässä on purppura-kultaiset rypytykset. Jakussa on avoin etumus ja mustasta sametista tehty huivikaulus. Hameosio on neljässä päällekkäisessä, rypytetyssä kerroksessa joista alin yltää nilkkoihin ja ylin on hyvin lyhyt. Alin kerros on musta-kultaista tylliä jonka päällä on läpinäkyvä, purppurainen kerros kultaisin koukerokoristein. Tämän päällä on sama purppura-kultainen kangas kuin hihoissakin ja ylimpänä on kultainen verkkokangas ommeltuna kiinni samaan tylliin josta alin kerros on tehty.

Madeline has a jacket which has a blazer and a skirt open from the front in the same. The blazer is blue and gold striped with elbow length sleeves puffed from the shoulders. In the end of sleeves there is purple and gold ruffles. The blazer has open front under bust and a wide scarf collar made of black velvet. The skirt is ruffled, four layered, all longer than the other. The longest one is up to the ankles from behind and is made of black and golden tulle. The next is see through purple fabric with golden swirls. Top of that is the same purple and gold fabric that the sleeves has and on top of it all is golden net sewn to the same black tulle that is in the bottom.  

Takin alla Maddiella on vaalean kultainen, hihaton neuletoppi ja siniset polvihousut kimaltavin, pinkein pilkuin. Hänellä on mustat hansikkaat joissa on laaja, valkoinen, koristereunuksinen hihansuu joissa on kaksi nappia ja pinkki rusetti.
Sanoinko muuten jo että RAKASTAN tätä takkia?

Under the coat Maddie has white and golden sleeveless, knitted top and blue, knee high trousers with shiny, pink dots. She has black gloves with wide, white ruffle with two buttons and a pink bow. 
Have I already said that I LOVE this coat?

Nämä housut saavat aikaan migreenin jos niitä katsoo liian pitkään. Ne on hauskat ja Maddielle sopivat ja mukava lisä pelkkiin mekkoihin.
Asuun kuuluu myös valkoiset polvisukat (jotka pysyvät ylhäällä erittäin hyvin jos ajattelee esim. Cedar Woodin sukkia) joissa on edessä ja sivuilla kaksi riviä kultaisia palloja, toisessa suurempia, toisessa pienempiä. Söpöt!

These pants give you migraine if you look them too long. They are fun and fitting Maddie's personality well and great in between all the skirts. 
The outfit also has white knee high socks (which stays up very well compared to Cedar Woods socks) which has two rows of golden dots in the front and on both sides. The other row has bigger dots and other smaller ones. Cute!

Kengissä huomio kiinnittyy heti korkoihin jotka tekevät nämä kengät. Pinotut kultaiset, musta, sininen ja purppura kahvikuppi toimivat niin korkona kuin kantana ja pysyy uskollisena Maddien tyylille. Tällä kertaa kun kankaissa ei ollut yhtään teeviitettä. Muuten kengät ovat hyvin peruskorkokengät; tummennetut kultaiset, pyöreä varvasosa, kiekuroita ja hihna.  

In the shoes the attention is pulled immediately to the heels that makes these shoes. Piled up golden, black, blue and purple teacups works as heel and part of the shoe staying true to Maddies style. This time the fabrics had no tea references. Otherwise the shoes are really basic; darkened gold, rounded toe, swirly decoration and a strap.

Hattu on ihanan iso ja on koristeltu samoin kiekuroin kuin kengätkin, paitsi vahvemmin. Hatussa on sininen vyö jossa on pallokuviointi (jonka pallot pitäisi olla purppurat, kuten hatunkin) ja helmisolki (jonka kuuluisi olla valkoinen. Sanon vain koska tulen maalaamaan nämä vastaamaan ohjemaa.). Vyöhön on sujautettu kortti joka pilkistää sen alta. Hattu on kiinnitetty mustaan hiuspantaan

The hat is adorably big and decorated with same swirls as the shoes, only stronger. The hat has a blue belt with ball print (the balls should be purple like the hat too) and a pearl buckle (which should be white. Just saying as I will paint these to match the show.). The belt has a card underneath it peeking out. The hat is secured in a black headband. 

Korvakoruina Maddiella on helminauhassa roikkuvat pienet teepannut. (Nämäkin tulen maalaamaan. Helmien kuuluu olla valkeita ja pannujen sini-kultaisia.)
Kaulassa on hyvin koristeellinen ja runsas purppura röyhelökaulus. Keskellä on kultainen, suuri ja koristeellinen koru josta nelikerroksinen röyhelö tummine reunoineen tippuu.

As earrings Maddie has little teapots in pearl strands. (I'll paint these too. The pearls are supposed to be white and pots blue and gold.)
Around her neck she has a purple, very big purple ruffled neck. In the center of the upper part is a big, golden, very decorated brooch from which the four layered ruffles with dark edges drops. 

Käsilaukkuna huomaamattani olen kuvannut huonompaa puolta mutta hänellä on jättimäinen, valkoinen teepussi pinkeillä koukeroilla. Kahvaosasta lähtee samanlainen musta nyöri kuin käsiosakin on jonka päässä on käsilaukun väreissä oleva teepussin etiketti.

As a handbag she a huge, white teabag with pink swirls. I have shot the worse side but it has the same kind of strap leaving for handle as for the label on side of the bag, which is same coloured and decorated like the bag. 

Madelinen avain on kultainen ja koristeltu pienellä teekupilla ja jollain joka näyttää silmältä. Ja koukeroilla tietysti.

Madelines key is golden and decorated with a small teacup and something that looks like an eye. And witch swirling things of course.

"Oh! Älkää vaan kertoko Rehtori Grimmille että avasin jo oman kirjani! Se vain aukesi!"

"Oh! Don't tell Headmaster Grimm I opened mine already. It just opened!"

Maddien kirja on yhtä paksu kuin muillakin tämän sarjan nukeilla eli puolet ensimmäisen Kohtalopäivä nuken kirjasta. Maddien kirja on purppura mustin reunakoristein ja keskellä oleva peili on paksun, mustan koristelun keskellä ja sen päällä on sininen hattu.

Maddies book is as thick as others in this line, so half of the first Legacy Day books. Maddies book is purple with black lining on borders. The mirror in front is placed inside a black blob which has a blue hat on top of it.

Kaikki Kohtalopäivä nuket tulevat hieman isommissa pakkauksissa kuin perusnuket. Eurooppalaisessa versiossa takana on lyhyt kuvaus Kohtalopäivästä monella eri kielellä, virallinen kuva nukesta sekä polaroid kuva sarjan muista nukeista. Nämä laatikot ovat myös kirjan näköisiä reunoiltaan.

All Legacy Day dolls come in a little bigger box than Signatures. In European version there is a short description of Legacy day decisions in the back in multiple languages, official art of the doll  and polaroid picture of the other dolls in the series. These packages also look like a book from the edges. 

Cerise näyttää tässä asussaan enemmän siltä mitä hän todella on; osa sutta, osa Punahilkkaa. Rakastan tätä asua päästä varpaisiin. Se on hienosti tehty ja hyvin yksityiskohtainen ja uskomattoman kaunis. Hänellä on tietenkin punainen viitta punaisella hupulla ja viitan helma jatkaa samaa kuviota kuin signaturenkin, siinä on mustia ja hopeisia puita sekä mustia glitter tähtiä. Myös vaaleaan haalistuminen on samanlainen kuin perusnukellakin. Miltei saman kankaan käytön voisi tituleerata laiskaksi mutta tässä se toimii. Ehkäpä juuri hupun ihanan, tuuhean, ruskean turkiksen ansiosta. Viitta kiinnitetään hopeisilla kiinnikkeillä joiden keskellä on suuri, hopeinen kivi. (Jonka maalaan punaiseksi vastaamaan paremmin ohjelman ulkoasua.) Hupun takaosa on avonainen jotta hiukset mahtuvat siitä ulos.

Cerise looks in this outfit more what she truly is; part wolf, part Little Red Riding Hood. I love this look from tip to toe. It's well constructed and very detailed and incredibly beautiful. She of course has a red cape with red hood and the cape has the same pattern as her signature doll has; black and silver trees but added black, glitter stars. Also the fading to white is similar to the signature cape. Using almost the same fabric to this could say is lazy, but it works here. Perhaps because of the big, awesome, brown fur around the hood. The cape is shut with silver clasps which has a big stone in the middle. (Which will be painted red to match the webisode outfit.) The back of the cape is open so the hair can fall out from there. 

Cerisen hiukset on kerätty etuhiusten kohdalta kohotetulle poninhännälle ja sivuilta toiselle, tiukemmalle poninhännälle. Muuten hiukset ovat vapaina. Etuhiukset on vedetty geelillä oikealle (ei hyvännäköinen, pidän enemmän kun ne on koko otsalla).
Meikki on vaatinut tottumista koska se on todella vahva. Kahta tumman ruskeaa luomiväriä yläluomella ja silmän ympärillä, vain hieman hopeista luomiväriä silmän etunurkassa ja glitteriä kulmakarvoihin asti. Huulet ovat tummanpunaiset.

Cerises hair are gathered to a lifted ponytail behind her bangs and to a tighter one from the sides. Otherwise they flow free. Bangs are pulled to right with gel (which is not a good look, I prefer them as full bangs).
The make-up has token a lot of getting used to as it is so strong. Two dark brown eyeshadow around the eye and only a bit of silver in the front corner and moving lid. Glitter goes again all the way to eyebrows. Her lips are dark red. 

Sitä luulisi että tummanharmaa-musta tartan kuvioinen mekko olisi tylsä mutta ei. Yläosa on niukka ja hihaton, kaula-aukko on ommeltu punaisella. Helma lähtee lantion alapuolelta ja kuvio haalistuu valkeaan, mutta reunan korostaa musta pitsi printti. Helma on polvien yläpuolelle edestä ja laskeutuu pisaramaisesti miltei maahan asti takana. Alla on helman muotoa myötäilevä musta tylli. Päälliskangas on päällystetty hopeisella glitterillä. Ilman tuota helman pitsiä ja terävää leikkausta mekko olisi tosiaan tylsä mutta tällaisenä käyttäisin itsekin. Kaulakoruna hänellä on punaisia helmiä ja naruja sekä olkapäillä roikkuen, että edessä ja takana. Olkapäiltä tippuu narunpäät koristeiksi. Tämä kaulakoru toimii mainiosti sillä se sitoo ulkoasua punaisiin legginseihin tasapainottaen kokonaisuutta.

You would think that a dark grey and black tartan printed dress would be boring but no. The bodice is plain and sleeveless, neckline is sewn with red. The hem starts under the hips and the print fades to white but there is black lace print refining the edge. The hem reaches the knees in front and drops making a sharp edge almost to the ground. Under there is black tulle that goes along the hem. The dress is covered in silver glitter. Without that lace on the edge and sharp back the dress would be boring but now I'd use it right away. As a necklace she has red pearls and strings dropping to her shoulders and in front and back. From the shoulders the edge of the rope drops as tassels. This necklace works amazingly well with the red leggings as it balances them up.

Mustat nahkalenkeillä ja hopeisilla riimuilla koristellut nahkaiset korkokengät? RAKASTAN. Vaikka minusta nämä toimisivat paremmin ilman avonaista kantapäätä ja varpaita. Oletteko muuten huomioineet että tällä Kohtalopäivä sarjalla ei enää ole varpaissa kynsilakkaa? Se oli ihana yksityiskohta.

Black leatherstap and silver chains decorated leather heels? I LOVE IT! Although I think these would work better without the open heel and peep toe. Have you noticed by the way that this Legacy Day series dolls don't have nail polish on their toes anymore? I loved that detail. 

Cerisen korkeampi poninhäntä on koristeltu hopeisella laatalla jossa on kivi keskellä ja siitä lähtee oksamaisia koristeita. Vasemmalla puolen hänellä on pieni, hopeinen niittikorvakoru.

Cerises higher ponytail is decorated with a silver brooch which has a stone in the middle from which a branch -like decors leave. On her left side she has a small, silver, rivet earring. 












Oikealla puolen hänellä on hopeinen niittikorvakoru josta lähtee kaksi riimua ylemmäs korvaan suureen lenkkiin, josta tippuu kaksi koristekiveä. Sormuksena hänellä on hopeinen suden pää. Molemmat korut ovat kauniita mutta tuosta korvakorusta pidän eritoten.

On the right side she has a silver rivet earring from which leaves two chains to her upper ear to a bigger ring. From there drops two decorative jewels. As a ring she has a silver wolf head. Both jewels are beautiful but I have a soft spot for that earring.

Cerisen vyö on jälleen ruskeaa nahkaa ja roikkuu alhaalla lanteilla juuri ennen helman alkua. Siinä on yksi suuri solki oikealla ja kaksi pienempää vasemalla, vasen puoli on myös miltei puolet leveämpi. Vyöstä roikkuu ohuempi ja paksumpi ketju jonka päässä on ruskea turkis koriste.

Cerises belt is once again brown leather and it's placed low on her hips, just above where the hem starts. It has one big buckle on the right and two smaller one on the left, which side is also almost half wider than the right. From the belt drops thinner and thicker chains. Thicker drops down and has a fur decoration at the end of it. 

Rannekoruina on ruskea nahkakoru joka kiinnitetään ympäri menevällä oheammalla nahkahihnalla ja jonka kiinnitys muistuttaa hevosen kuolainta. Toinen on musta ketju vyökiinnityksellä.
Käsilaukku on ruskea ja punottu, suhteellisen iso ja hieman ovaalinmuotoinen. Sen ympäri menee kaksi punaista nahkahihnaa joissa on kiinnikkeet ja jotka jatkuvat kahvaksi. Käsilaukku suljetaan punaisella, nahkaisella läpällä.

As bracelets she has brown leather one which is closed with thinner strap of leather that goes around it and is clasped with something that looks like horses bit. The other is black chain with buckle. 
Handbag is brown, weaved, quite big and a bit oval shaped. Around it goes two red leather straps with buckles that continues to be the handle and it's closed with a big, red, leather strap.

Cerises key is silver and has a wolf head and branches decorating the end of it. 

Cerisen kirja on punainen ja sen reunat on koristeltu mustilla koristeilla joiden välissä on mustia niittejä. Keskellä olevaa peiliä ympyröi mustat koristeet ja hopeinen suden pää.

Cerises book is red and has black border decoration with black rivets in between them. Around the mirror in the middle is black decorations and a silver wolf head. 
This is her legacy but which one of her parents she should follow?

Kohtalonpäivä Ashlynn Ella nukke / Legacy day Ashlyn Ella doll

Ashlynn on tässä ottanut enemmän vaikutteita luonnonlapsen luonteestaan kuin omasta sadustaan. Hänellä on vaaleanpunainen viitta lehtiköynnöskuviolla ja edessä kulkee kultaisista lehdistä tehty koristereuna. Viitassa on korkea, rypytetty kaulus takana ja kultaiset sidontanauhat. Nukke tulee kultaisen, avaimenmuotoisen hiusharjan ja kultaisen standin kanssa.
Mielestäni viitta ei oikein sovi Ashlynille sillä väri on liian vahva ja vie hänen omaa väriä pois. Koristereunat myös tekee viitasta äärimmäisen tönkön. Kauluksesta pidän, se on jotain Punahilkan ja Raven Queenin välimaastosta mutta pehmeämpi luonteentaan.

Ashlynn has token here more influence of her nature child personality than from her own story. She has light pink cape with leaf vines print and in front there is golden leaf decorative border. The cape has high, ruffled collar in back and golden tying ribbons in front. The doll comes with golden, keyshaped hairbrush and a golden stand. 
I don't think the cape suits her as the colour is too strong and reduces her own radiance. The decorative borders also makes the cape really stiff. I like the collar, it's somewhere in middle of Little Red Riding Hood and Raven Queen but softer looking. 

Ashlynnille on vasemmalla tehty etuhiuksista kaksi pientä lettiä jotka kiertävät taakse ja oikea puoli on kierretty taakse. Jakaus on reilusti oikealla puolen. Muuten hiukset saavat aaltoilla vapaasti. Vaikka nukella on runsaasti hiusta, päälaella sitä on yllättävän vähän, kruunun alta joutui puikon avulla asettelemaan hiuksia ettei kaljuja läikkiä näkyisi. Tästä huolimatta tämä on minusta todella kaunis kampaus kunhan hieman löysytin lettejä takaa että ne laskeutuisivat enemmän.
Tärkeänä päivänä päähän laitetaan oikea kruunu; pinkki lehdistä ja kukista tehty jonka keskellä on kultaiset kivet koristeena.

Ashlynn has got two small braids on the left made from her front hair circling to the back. She has quite strong parting on right and the hair from right is swirled around and pulled back also. Otherwise her hair can flow freely. Even though the doll has much hair, on the top of the head there is surprisingly little of it. I had to settle it inside of the crown to hide the bald spots. Neverminding this, I think this is very beautiful hairdo. I did loosen up the braids so they would drop lower and made it more perfect. 
On the important day she wears a real crown; a pink one made from leaves and flowers that have golden rocks in the middle as decoration.

Meikissä Ash on turvautunut luottoväreihinsä; turkoosia luomiväriä ylä- ja alaluomella ja pinkkiä pieni ripaus ylhäällä. Glitteriä on ripoteltu kulmiin asti. Huulet ovet kiiltävän pinkit.
Korvakoruina hänellä on turkoosit, rönsyilevät runsaslehtiset oksat. Kaulakoru on kultainen helmistä ja lehdistä punottu jonka keskellä on kaksi pinkkiä kukkaa.

In make-up Ash trust to her signature colours; turquoise eyeshadow to upper and lower lid and hint of pink on the top. All this is finished with glitter to the brows. Lips have shiny pink lipstick. 
As earrings she has turquoise, full flowing branches with lots of leaves. Her necklace is golden and made from pearls and leaves, in the middle there is two pink flowers to brighten it up.

Mekko ja ulkoasu ilman viittaa vasemmalla ja mekko yksityiskohtaisemmin oikealla. Mekon yläosa on turkoosi kultaisilla kuvioilla rintojen yläpuolelle asti ja jatkuu korallin pinkkinä tyllinä kaulaan asti. Tyllistä on tehty myös lyhyet, rypytetyt hihat. Hameosa rakentuu turkoosin kynähameen päälle ja on edestä reilusti avoin. Alin ja pisin kerros on tumman turkoosia tylliä kukkakuviolla. Seuraava, lyhyempi kerros on samalla kuviolla mutta paksumpaa ja kirkkaampaa kangasta. Ylin ja lyhin kerros on samaa tylliä kuin alinkin kerros. Kaikki avonaiset hameosat on rypytetty yläosaan kiinni. Asuun kuuluu myös mustat, kultaisena kimaltavat verkkosukkahousut.

The outfit without the cape on left and dress with higher detail on the right. The bodice of the dress is turquoise with golden decoration over the bust from where it continues with coral-pink tulle up to the neck. From the tulle there is also short, gathered sleeves. The skirt builds around a short, turquoise pencil skirt and is well open from the front. The lowest and longest layer is dark turquoise tulle with flower print. The next, shorter layer is the same print but as brighter and thicker fabric. The shortest layer is the same tulle as the lowest. All open fronted layers of skirt are gathered to the bodice. The outfit has also black fishnet stockings that glimmers in gold.

Kengät ovat asun heikoin kohta. Muoviset ja taipuilevat vaikka onkin niin tönkön ja mitäänsanomattoman näköiset. (Samat kengät nähdään halpis perusversiolla, joka kertoo minusta kengistä ihan tarpeeksi.) Kaunis pinkki väri ja selkeät lehdet eivät pelasta tätä kenkäkatastrofia. Ja vielä Tuhkimon kenkäfriikillä tyttärellä!

The shoes are the weak point of the look. They are soft and rubber like even though they look stiff and uninspiring. (The same shoes are on the cheap Basic version of Ashlynn which tells enough of the shoes IMHO.) The beautiful pink colour and clear leaves doesn't save this shoe catastrophe. And on the shoe freak daughter of Cinderella!

Nuken mukana tulee kultainen sormus jossa on lintu ja jonka unohdin kuvatessa. Muina koruina on pinkeistä helmistä tehty rannerengas jossa on kukka keskellä, sekä kultainen, kaksirivinen rannerengas joka on hieman avoin ja päissä on lentävät, kultaiset linnut. Käsilaukku on kultaisista lehdistä ja kukista tehty jonka etuosassa on kauniita, pinkkejä kukkia koristeena. Hihnana toimii oksa jolla istuu kultainen lintu. Ihana idea ja kauniisti toteutettu.

The doll comes with a golden bird ring that I forgot while shooting. Other jewelry are pink pearl bracelet with pink flower and a golden, two row bracelet which is a bit open and ends on golden, flying birds. The handbag is made from golden leaves and flowers and the front has beautiful pink flowers on it. The strap is a piece of branch where a golden bird sits. I think it's a lovely idea and well made.

Toisen Kohtalopäivä nukkesarjan kirjat ovat n. puolta kapeammat kuin ensimmäisten, mutta ovat edelleen avautuvat ja hyviä säilytyspaikkoja mm. sormukselle ja avaimelle. Ashlynin kirja on vaalean turkoosi kultaisin lehtikoristein ja keskellä olevan peilin ympärillä on kevyempiä lehtikoristeita ja kultainen lintu. Kirjaa tulee pitää kuin Kuninkaallisen täytyy.

The second Legacy Day doll series books are about half thinner than the first ones. They still open up and are great place to storage the dolls ring and key. 
Ashlynns book is light turquoise with golden borderlines and leafdecorations. Around the mirror in the center there is lighter leaf branches and a golden bird. 
The book must be held like a Royal should.

Kohtalonpäivä Briar Beauty nukke / Legacy Day Briar Beauty doll

Briarin Kohtalonpäivä asu on kaikista tiukimmin hänen perustyylinsä mukainen; täynnä pinkkiä, ruusuja ja sen piikkejä. Hänen viittansa on mustaa tylliä jossa on hopeisella glitterillä tehty ruusuköynnöksiä. Kauluksena on pinkkiä tylliä kolmessa, rypytytetyssä kerroksessa kuin ruusun kukka, tosin mustalla reunuksella. Viitta kiinnitetään pienellä, miltei näkymättömällä napilla edestä.
Nyt varmaan odotatte että näytän kieltä tällekin viitalle mutta nope! Tämä on minusta hienosti ideoitu ja toteutettu. Vaikka viitta on kapeampi ja etureuna on vahvemmin pyöristetty läpinäkyvä kangas ja nuo hopeiset köynnökset ovat vain upeita. Niin täudellisen sopivia hänen tarinaansa. Kauluksesta en ole ihan varma koska se hukuttaa miltei hänen koko yläkehon alleen mutta idea on hyvä, toteutus OK, tämä on upea viitta.

Briar's Legacy Day outfit is the most styled like her signature style; full of pink, roses and it's thorns. Her cape is black tulle with silver, glitter rose vines. As a collar she has pink tulle in three, ruffled layers like a rose, though with a black edge. The cape is closed with a small, almost invisible button from the front. 
Now you expect me to go show my tongue to this cape too but no. This is well thought and well made. Even though the cape is slimmer and the front is more rounded, the see-through fabric and those silver vines are just gorgeous. They are so fitting to her story. I'm not completely sure of the collar as it drowns her whole upper body in it but the idea is good, execution is OK, this is a great cape. 

Halusin näyttää kuinka paljon viittaa muuttaa ulkoasua. Kaulus näyttää hyvältä mutta ilman sitä korut pääsee enemmän oikeuksiinsa.
Briarin hiukset on jakauksella vasemmalta puolen, ja hänellä on pinkkejä, ohuita raitoja huomattavasti vähemmän kuin signature nukella, pääosin hänen hiukset näyttää vain ruskeilta. Hiukset on kerätty poninhännälle oikealle puolen, ja samalla puolen on osio jätetty vapaaksi ja kiharrettu. Se tosin on kiharrettu niin päin että se törröttää ulospäin tyhmän näköisesti. :/
Hänellä on hopeista ja pinkkiä luomiväriä sekä glitteriä koko silmän ympärillä kulmakarvoihin asti. Briarin kulmakarvat ei ole häivytetty, mutta ne on hieman ohuemmat kuin minun signaturella ja näyttää tähän tyyliin sopivammalta. Huulipunana on luonnollisesti vahva pinkki.
Hänellä on hopeinen kruunu jossa on pinkkejä ruusuja joista lähtee kolme hopeista lehteä ylöspäin. Välit on koristeltu hopeisilla palleroilla. Pidän todella paljon tästä kruunusta, Se on yksinkertainen, mutta näyttävä ja kaunis.
Korvakoruina hänellä on läpikuultavat, pinkit roikkuvat korvakorut ornamenttikuviolla. Kaulakoruna hänellä on runsas, hopeinen, kolmessa kerroksessa roikkuva helmikaulakoru jonka yläosassa on kolme suurta, pinkkiä ruusua. Pidän myös tästä kaulakorusta, se on niin yks yhteen kruunun kanssa.

I wanted to show how much the cape changes the look. The collar looks good but without it the accessories can take the limelight. 
Briar's hair is parted from left and she has thin, pink strands a lot less than in her signature doll making her hair look just brown. Her hair is gathered to the right side  to a ponytail, and on the same side a piece of hair is token loose and curled to drop next to her face. Too bad it's curled to the wrong direction and it just points out looking stupid. :/
She has silver and pink eyeshadow and glitter all around her eye up to the eyebrows which are not faded. They are slightly thinner than my signature doll has and they fit to this look perfectly. In her lips she, of course, has strong pink lipstick. 
She has a silver crown with pink roses, and from the roses rises three, silver leaves. The middle parts are decorated with silver balls. I really like this crown. It's simple, but so out there and beautiful.
As earrings she has translucent pink, dropping earrings with small ornament decoration. Her necklace is full, silver, three layered dropping, pearl strands with three big, pink roses up on the neck. I also like this necklace, it's made to go with the crown. 

Asu ilman viittaa ja kuva mekon halkiosta. Alunperin en pitänyt yhtään tästä asusta. Se ei vain näyttänyt imartelevalle ja oli jotenkin tönkön oloinen. Kun nuken saa käteensä ja katsoo asua tarkemmin näkee että se on Ever After Highn muodikkammaille prinsessalle sopiva. Se on perinteinen ja tyylikäs mutta siinä on kuitenkin modernia särmää.

The outfit without her cape and a picture of the dresses slit. At first I didn't like this outfit at all. It just didn't look flattering and it looked plain stiff. When you get the doll to your hand and look the outfit closer you'll see it's fit for the most fashion forward princess of Ever After High.It's traditional and stylish but it still has modern edge to it.
  

Mekko on yläosastaan täysin pinkki ja helmasta vinoon leikattu, vasen puoli nousten miltei lantiolle asti. Edessä rinnan kohdalla on rypytettyä, mustaa tylliä joka nousee kaulalle asti korun alla ja mekko solmitaan mustilla satiininauhoilla niskan taakse. Tämä on siis halterneck mekko. Helma on pyöristetty ja jätetty osittain avoimeksi sivusta ja on rypytetty, kaksikerroksinen joista alempi on musta kangas kiiltävillä, pinkeillä ruusun piikki köynnöksillä, ja ylempi on lyhyempi, pinkkiä tylliä jossa on mustia ruusuja ja hopeita glitter palloja. Mitä enemmän tätä mekkoa pyörittelee käsissään sitä paremmalta se näyttää. :D
Vyö on musta, kolmirivinen niittivyö jossa on edessä suuri, hopeinen, kukka-aiheinen solki.

The dress is completely pink from the upper part and has an eneven hem, the left side rising always all the way to hips. In the chest there is ruffled, black, tulle which rises all the way up to her neck under the necklace and the dress ca be then closed with two satin ribbons. It's a halterneck dress. The hem is rounded and partly open from the side, it's ruffled, two layered of which the lower is black with shiny pink, thorny rose vines and upper layer being shorter, pink tulle with black roses and silver glitter balls. The more I look and roll over this dress the better it looks. :D
The belt is black, three rowed rivet belt with big, silver, flower themed decorative buckle in front. 

Kengät ovat piikikkäästä, mustasta köynnöksestä tehdyt, korkokenkäiset avokkaat. Edessä on pinkki rypytys jalkapöydän kohdalta nilkkaan ja keskellä on hopeisia korukiviä. Nämä ovat hyvin ajateltu ja upeasti toteutetut kengät. Minä rakastan kontrasteja ja tässä prinsessamaisen herkkä pinkki ja mustat piikkiköynnökset tekee juuri ihanan kontrastin. Jos minulla ei olisi niin rumat varpaat nämä olisi kengät jotka taatusti tekisin!

The shoes are black, thorny vines, high heeled open toe beauties. In the front there is pink ruffles with silver stones in the middle. 
These shoes are so well thought and well made. I love contrast and here the princess, sweet pink and thorny, black vines makes the perfect combination. If I wouldn't have so ugly toes these are shoes I'd make for sure!

Briarin helminauha näkyy taustalla kuten vyön koristeellinen solkikin. Muina koruina hänellä on hopeinen, runsas helmirannekoru vasemmassa kädessä joka käy yksi yhteen kaulakorun ja kruunun kanssa, Oikeassa kädessä on suuri, pinkki ruususormus. Nuo näkyvät kuminauhat pitävät sen paikoillaan ettei se lipsahda ja katoa.
Käsien asettelu oli hieman kökkö koska oikean käden ranne on hyvin löysä.

Briar's necklace and decorative belt buckle can be seen in the background. As other jewels she has full, silver, pearl bracelet matching her necklace and crown.  On the right hand she has a big, pink rose ring. Those rubberbands keeps the ring on place and makes it not to fall off and disappear. 
The placement of hands is a bit awkward as she has really loose right wrist.

Käsilaukku on, mikä muukaan kuin jättimäinen, pinkki ruusu. Hihnana on pinkki helminauha. Laukku on näin päin suuri mutta se on hyvin kapea sivuttain.
Ei mitenkään suosikkiasusteeni eikä noin kapeaan laukkuun oikeasti saisi mahtumaan yhtään mitään...

The handbag is, what else but a giant, pink rose. As a strap it has a pink pearl strand. The bag is large in this way but it's thin sideways. 
This is in no point in my like list of accessories. And so thin bag couldn't hold really anything you would need for a night out...

Briarin kohtalon kirja on pinkki mustin koristein. Keskellä oleva peili on koristeltu hopeisella reunuksella ja mustalla ruusuköynnöksellä jossa on pinkkejä ruusuja. Alla on pinkki ruusukoriste.
Pienellä jänityksellä mutta tyytyväisenä Briar pääsee allekirjoittamaan kirjansa.

Briar's book is pink with black decorations. The mirror in the middle is decorated with silver framing that has black thorny rose vine growing in it with pink roses. On the bottom is a pink rose decoration. 
With a bit of nervousness and excitement Briar can now sign her book. 

Kohtalonpäivä Raven Queen nukke / Legacy Day Raven Queen Doll

Raven sai äidiltään loputtoman pimeyden viitan Kohtalonpäivälahjaksi. Joka on loputtoman höyhen-, pyörre- ja lehtiprintin vallassa. Ja violetin glitterin. Viitta on yksinkertainen puoliympyrä olkapääkavennuksilla ja mustilla rannelenkeillä. Edessä on painonappi jolla viitan voi kiinnittää. 

Miusta se on vaan vähän turhan tönkkö. Ihan nätti mutta ollakseen Pahimman Pahuuden Ikinä viitta se on vaan ihan liian yksinkertainen. 

Nukke tulee oman kohtalonpäiväkirjan kanssa. Ravenilla se on violetti jossa on mustat ja hopeiset ykistyiskohdat sekä korpin kallo peilin yläpuolella. Kirjaan tulee myös avain, jonka näytän myöhemmin. Korkokenkä pitää vain kirjaa oikeassa asennossa. ;)

Raven got from her mother the Cape of Infinite Darkness as a Legacy Day gift. Which is a Cape of Infinite feathers, swirls and leaves print. And violet glitter. The cape is simple half circle with narrowed shoulders and black wrist straps. In front is a button which closes the cape. 

I think it's  too stiff. It's pretty but to be the cape of The Greatest Evil it's just too simple (lame). 

The doll comes with its own Storybook of Legends. Ravens is violet with silver and black decoration and a raven skull on top of the mirror. There is also a key I'll show later. The pink high heel just keeps the book up. ;)

Ravenin asu ilman viittaa. Ja ilman kaulusta. Hänen juhla-asuihinsa kuuluu aina kaulus mutta nuken edellinen omistaja leikkasi sen pois koska hänen mielestään olkapää/kaulakoru näyttää paremmalta ilman. Minulla on kauluksen palaset ja olen katsellut miltä se näyttäisi niiden kanssa mutta täytyy myöntää, tämä on paljon paremman näköinen tällaisena. (Nukelta puuttuu myös hänen sormus, se on kadonnut jonnekin.)

Raven's outfit without the cape. And without the collar. Her fancier dresses always has a collar, but the former owner of the doll cut it off as she thought the piece looks better without it. I do have the pieces and I have looked what she would look with them but I have to agree, she looks better this way. (The doll also misses her ring, it has disappeared.)

Tässä on kaulus takaapäin. Se on hiusten tiellä, ne ei asetu nätisti ja muutenkin kaulus ei näytä kovin hyvältä. Se on hopeinen sisäpuolelta joten näyttää aika tylsälle. Ehkä jos sen maalaisi muistuttamaan enemmän takaosaa se voisi näyttää fiksummalta?

Here is the back view of the collar. It's on the way of her hair and doesn't just look that good. It's silver from inside so it's quite a bore. Perhaps if I would paint it to remind more of the backside it would look better?

Ohjelmassa kaulus näyttää hyvältä ja olen todella iloinen että nuken kaulus muistuttaa suuresti ohjelman kaulusta, mutta valitettavasti hiuksille ei ole samalla tavalla tilaa ja ei se ihan samalta näytä kuitenkaan.

In the show the collar looks good and I'm really happy that the doll's collar is like the one in the show, but unfortunately there just isn't room for hair like that and it doesn't look exactly the same. 

 

Ravenin mustat ja violetit hiukset on palmikoitu edestä keskeltä molemmille puolille päätä ja yhdistetty poninhäntään joka tulee oikealle. Palmikot osaltaan pitävät kruunua paikoillaan. 

Hänellä on hopeiset, roikkuvat piikkikorvakorut. Kulmakarvat ovat tummat ja pidän siitä että ne on heikommat edestä. Hänellä on turkoosia luomiväriä ylä- ja alaluomella sekä violettia yläluomella. Glitteriä riittää kulmakarvoihin asti. Hänellä on vienosti punastuneet posket ja kiiltävä, purppura huulipuna. 

Raven's black and purple hair is twisted and braided from the front to both sides of the head and goes to the ponytail on the right. The braids help to hold the crown in it's place. 

She has silver, dropping, spiky earrings. The eyebrows are dark and I like it that they are fainter from the front. She has turquoise eyeshadow on upper and lower lid and purple eyeshadow on upper lip above the turquoise. Glitter goes all the way to the eyebrows. She has faintly blushed cheeks and glossy, purple lipstick.

 Ravenilla on siis kaulukseton kauluri jossa on tumman hopeiset riimut violettien olkapääsulkien alla, sekä yksi tumman hopeisen kaulakorun alla. Aivan ihana kappale, näyttää hyvältä ja sopii moneen. Hänellä on violetti, kiiltävä paita(joka näyttää kumman pinkiltä/purpuralta tässä) jossa on tumman violetteja ja hopeisia kuvioita. Paitaan on ommeltu samasta kankaasta pyöreä helma taakse, jonka päällä on lyhyet, rypytetyt kerrokset valkoista ja violettia tylliä. Hänellä on violetit legginsit joissa on kiiltävä, hopeinen kuviointi. Vyönä hänellä on tumman hopeinen riimu joka laskeutuu moninkertaisena lanteille ja tuplana eteen. 

Minusta tämä on yksi Ravenin hienoimpia asuja. Paita joka on kuitenkin mekko on tyylikäs ja erilainen eikä moni tuleva kuningatar todellakaan käytä legginsejä tällaisena päivänä joten pointsit siitä! Ja tuo vyö on ihana. 

So, Raven has a collar-less collarpiece which has dark silver chains under violet shoulder feathers and one under a dark silver necklace. I love this piece. It looks good and it goes with anything. She has purple, shiny, shirt with dark purple and silver print (don't mind it looks so pink in this). A rounded, longer hem is sewn to the back of the shirt from same fabric and on top of that is short, ruffled layers of white and purple tulle. She has violet leggings with shiny, silver print. As a belt she has dark silver chains going down to her hips multiple times and twice on front. 

I think this is one of Raven's best looks. The shirt that is still a dress is stylish and different and not many becoming queen uses leggings on a day like this so point to Raven! And I love the belt.

Ravenilla on mustat, varpaista avoimet polvisaappaat joissa on kaksi kerrosta hopeisia neliöniittejä yläpuolella. Saappaissa on tuttu höyhenkuviointi ja salmiakkikuvioiset nyöritysosiot. Kanta on mielenkiintoinen hieman edessä oleva kiilakorkokanta jossa on reikä keskellä. Huomaa ylisuloiset lakatut varpaankynnet!

Raven has black, knee high, open toe boots with two rows of silver, square rivets on top. The boots has already familiar feather decoration in them and diamond shaped lacing buckles. The heel is interesting as it's a bit more to the front, it's a wedge heel but it has a hole in the middle. Notice the overly cute painted toe nails!

Ravenin käsilaukku on violetti, pintakuvioinen pallo jossa on suuri, hopeinen nappi violetin koristeen keskellä. Laukku ei ole aukeneva. Hihnana on pätkä riimua.
Tässä näkyy myös toinen rannekoruista, kolmirivinen, hopeinen niittikoru jonka viimeiset niitit ovat piikikkäät. Hänellä on myös toinen rannekoru joka näkyy vaatekuvassa ja kuvassa ilman viittaa. Se on musta ranneke jossa on ketju yläpäässä ja korpin jalka ja kynnet alareunassa. Sormus, joka tosiaan on hukkunut, olisi hopeinen, mutten kuviosta oikein koskaan saanut selvää. Ehkä se eniten muistuttaa siipeä.

Raven's handbag is a violet, surface structured ball with big, silver button in middle of violet decoration. The bag doesn't open. As a strap she has a piece of chain. 
Here you can also see the other bracelet, three rows of silver rivets from which the last one are spiky. She also has another bracelet which you can see in the clothing picture and in the picture without a cape. It's black bracelet which has chain on the top and a raven's foot and claws rounding the bottom. The ring, that is missing, would be silver, but I don't know what it is actually. I think it reminds most about a wing?

 Ravenin kruunu. Tämä on todella upea hiuskoriste. Kokonaan tummaa hopea lukuunottamatta violetteja jalokiviä jotka tippuvat otsalle. Kruunussa on hopeinen, koristeltu hiuspanta joka pääasiallisesti pitää kruunun paikoillaan ja sen edessä on suomuiset, eteen kääntyvät piikit jotka lettien avulla auttavat kruunun pysymisessä. Itse kruunu on jotain perinteisen kruunun ja taistelukypärän väliltä. Keskiosa on kuin perinteinen kruunu jossa olisi punainen sametti sisällä, muta se on hopeinen ja ylös menevät riimut jotka kohtaavat korpin pääkallon ja pienet siivet siellä. Korpin nokasta laskeutuu koristeosio josta lähtee etuosan siivet jotka muuttuu niiksi suonikkaiksi etukappaleiksi. Keskeltä tippuu otsalle ensin violetti koristekivi, sitten hopeinen koristelaatta ja lopuksi violetti pisaranmuotoinen kivi. Yksityiskohdat tässä ja kaulusosassa ovat uskomattomat ja samaa tasoa kuin Ravenin erikoisversiossa joka julkaistiin San Diagon Comic Conissa vuonna 2015.

Raven's crown. This is truly beautiful headpiece. It's completely dark silver if you don't count the violet jewels dropping to forehead. The crown has a silver, decorated headband which mainly keeps it on it's place and in front of it are the scaly, front turning spikes that with the braids helps it to stay on place. The crown itself is something in between  traditional royal crown and a battle helmet. The middle part is like traditional crown with it's red velvet, except it's silver and it has chains going up to the ravens skull that has small wings. From the peak of the raven falls a decorative piece which turns into the wings in front from where the scaly spikes leave. From the center there first drops a violet jewel in silver etching to the forehead, then a decorative silver piece and lastly a violet stone drop. 
The details in this crown (and in the collar piece) are as good as Raven's Special Edition doll that was released in San Diego Comic-Con 2015.

Ravenin kirja.
Kun hän lausuu nimensä kohtalonpäivänä Kohtalon kirja antaa hänelle avaimen jolla hän voi avata sen hänen kohdaltaan ja kirja näyttää hänelle hänen tulevaisuutensa. Raven ei ollut kovin ilahtunut näkemästään.

Raven's book. 
When she announces her name the Storybook of Legends summons a key with which she can open the book to show her her future. Raven wasn't that happy from what she saw.  

Ravenin hopeinen, kuninkaallinen avain. Ja ehkä hieman värisevä käsi.

Raven's silver, royal key. And perhaps a bit trembling hand. 

"Okei mie oon saanut tarpeekseni tästä. Mie en aio allekirjoittaa!"

"Okay, I've had enough of this. I'm not going to sign!"
