Courtly Jester Way Too Wonderland nukke / doll

Courtly Jester on uusi hahmo Ever After High sarjassa. Hän on Ihmemaan lukion rehtori. Kaikki sarjan nuket ovat tällä tavala pakattuja samankaltaisissa laatikoissa. Taustalla on pyörre jossa on erilaisia ihmemaahan ja hahmoihin liittyviä kuvia, ylävasemmalla on elokuvan logo, alhaalla Hahmon nimi, asema ja Ever After High:n logo. Courtlylla on myös lisänä erikoisjulkaisunuken ilmoitus. Pakkaukset ovat neliskanttisia mutta muovisuojus myötäilee pyörrettä. Jalusta, harja ja kortti on kiinnitetty taustaan näkyville. Courtlyn paketin takaosassa on kolme korttia joista voi valita Courtleylle tarinaan uuden suunnan.

Courtly Jester is a new character in Ever After High series. She is the principal of the Wonderland High (out of principal of course). All the dolls of the series are boxed like this. In the background there is a swirl with all kinds of items connected to Wonderland or to the characters. On top left is the logo of the movie, down is the character's name and story and Ever After High's logo. Courtly also has special edition doll plaque. The packages are squares but the plastic goes with the swirl being round. Brush, stand and card are attached to the box back and are visible. In the back of Courtly's box there is three cards from which you can choose how Courtly's story goes on. 

Courtly on sarjan ainut nukke joka eroaa hyvin paljon elokuvan versiosta. Hänellä on blondit, pitkät ja kiharat hiukset poninhännällä (kun taas elokuvassa ne on lyhyet ja terävästi leikatut). Hänellä on jakaus vasemmalla ja etuhiukset, joissa on leveä, violetti raita, on vedetty otsan yli oikealle. Hiukset kuuluisivat hänen silmän eteen mutta minä pidän etuhiuksia kiinni kuten ne olivat laatikossakin.
Courtlyn mukana tulee kultainen standi ja harja sekä jokerikortti.

Courtly is the one doll that differs a lot from the film version. She has long, blond hair on ponytail (while in film she has short, sharp cut) . She has parting on left and the hair from front with a wide, violet stripe are pulled to the left. They should be free floating over her eye but I keep the tied up like they were in the box. 
Courtly comes with a golden stand, brush and a joker card.

Courtlylla on lilaa ja harmaata luomiväriä ja vasemman silmän päälle on maalattu valkoinen, korttipakasta tuttu ruutu. Hänellä on violetit kulmakarvat, punaiset huulet ja leveä hymy. Pidän paljon tästä lookista.

Courtly has lilac and grey eyeshadow and over her left eye there is painted a white diamond like in the card deck. She has violet eyebrows, red lips and wide smile. I really like this look. 

Itse mekko on hyvin yksinkertainen, se on yhdestä palasta tehty jossa on punainen raita violeteilla kiehkuroilla, vaaleansinien ja vaaleanlila raita salmiakkikuviolla jonka päällä on violetteja salmiakkikuvioita, tumman violetti raita jossa on punaisia ruutuja ja pyörteitä ja sitten lähdetäänkin alusta punaisella raidalla. Helma on saksittu risaiseksi ja mekossa on lilat, glitterillä koristellut puhvihihat. Mekon päällä on punainen, muovinen, vyö jossa on neljä ylöspäin taipuvaa siivekettä. Tämän päällä hänellä on kultainen vyö jossa on ketjujen ja narujen varassa jokerilaatta ja kulkusia.

The dress itself is very simple. It's made from one piece which has red stripe with violet swirls, light blue and lilac stripe with diamond pattern and violet diamonds on it, dark violet stripe with red swirls and diamonds and then we start over again with the red stripe. The hem is spiked and the dress has lilac, glitter filled puffy sleeves. On top of the dress is a red, plastic belt with four wings bending upwards. Over this she has a golden belt where in strings and chains is a golden jester plate and bells. 

Courtlylla on tumman violetit, samankaltaiset, eripari kengät. Oikea on miltei polveen asti ulottuva ja reunat on taitettu alas. Kengän sivut sekä käännetyt reunat on koristeltu ympyröillä. Kenkä on sivuilta avoin ja siinä on leveä nauha. Kengän edessä, yläosassa on kultainen ketju. Kengän alaosa on avoin, siinä on neliöreikiä koko jalkapöydän matkalta ja kengän ympärys on koristeltu niitein. Jalassa on punainen rusetti, jonka voi siirtää mihin kohti jalkaa tai toista kenkää haluaa. Vasen kenkä on muuten hyvin samanlainen mutta on huomattavasti lyhyempi, kangas on kiedottu jalan ympäri luoden kengän etuosaan saliakin muotoisen reiän jonka päällä on kultainen nappi.

Courtly has dark violet boots which are similar yet different. The right shoe reaches almost to the knee and the ends are turned. The sides of the shoe and borders of the turned pieces are decorated with circles. The shoe is open from the sides and has wide lacing. In the front of shoe, on the top there is a golden, wide and thick chain. The bottom of the shoe is open and has square holes on it. The round of feet is decorated with spikes. The shoe has a red bow which you can take off and put anywhere on leg or the other shoe. The left shoe is otherwise very similar but it's a lot shorter and the fabric of shoe is wrapped around the feet creating a diamond shape hole in the front. There is a golden button on top of it. 

Jokerilla on oltava jokerin päähine, eli seitsemän punaista, kolmiomaista osiota sojottamassa joka suuntaan. Alempien osioiden päsissä on pallo ja etumus on koristeltu viidellä sydämellä, suuremmat osiot on koristeltu palloilla ja niiden päissä on timantit. Koko komistus on kiinni kultaisessa pannassa.
Courtlylla on punaiset salmiakkikuvioiset korvakorut. Tässä myös näkyy hyvin hänen violetti kaulus jossa on pystysuoria viivoja koristeena ja kultaisia kulkusia. Näytän kaulurin vielä erikseen.

The jester needs a jester's hat which is seven triangle-like parts hanging on every direction. The lover parts have a ball at the end of them and the front is decorated with five hearts. The bigger parts are decorated with balls and have diamonds hanging at the end of them. The whole headpiece is on golden headband. 
Courtly has red diamond shaped earrings. Here you can also see her violet collar with stripes as decoration and golden bells. I'll show the collar later as it is.

Did I already mention she has violet gloves? She has violet gloves. She also has big, violet hand pieces decorated with diamond shapes of which some are holes. In right hand she also has two, big, round bracelets. The other has little dots in it.

Vielä erikseen kultainen ja punainen vyö ja violetti kauluri koko komeudessaan. Se asetetaan olkapäiden varaan, kiinnitetään kultaisella ketjulla edestä ja siinä on viisi viivoin koristeltua osiota joiden päässä on kultaiset kulkuset. Kaulus on selästä avoin ja hiuksille on jätetty salmiakin muotoinen aukko.

And a picture of the golden and red belt separate, plus the violet collar in it's full glory. It's placed on the shoulders and closed from front with golden chain. It has five parts with decorative lines and golden bells at the ends of them. The collar is open from the back and there is a large, diamond shaped hole for the hair. 





Courtly on nukeista kaikista radikaaleimmin erottuva verrattuna elokuvan versioon. Suurin ero on hiukset; elokuvassa hänellä on lyhyet, siististi leikatut hiukset kun nukella on pitkät hiukset. Uutta on myös ettei nukella ole legginsejä/sukkahousuja vaan hänen jalat ovat eriväriset ja kuvioidut. Muutoksia on myös asusteiden ja silmien väreissä sekä mekossa.

Courtly is the most radically different doll compared to the movie version. The biggest difference is the hair; in the movie she has very short, clean cut and the doll has full, long hair. What's also new is that the doll doesn't wear leggings or stockings but her legs are molded with different colours and the pattern. There is also changes in the colours of the accessories and her eyes and changes in the dress.
